Was just amazing, the people, view and the rooms were so clean, be going there again for sure.
Fantastic location with river frontage and magnificent gardens
Nothing, it’s a fantastic place to stay
The location, the staff, the cleanliness.
Nothing that we didn't like.
Beautiful views and setting
Nil
Beautiful tranquil location
The room was very small. There were no robes or slippers. The bathroom was very old and the toilet roll holder fell on the ground. The linen was not new either. The place was uncomfortable and not what I expected for such a high price. The facilities felt like a bad hostel and not a 4 star hotel.
It's my favorite place in the entire Victoria, massive outdoors with your own yarra river access. I can go on...
Two complaints - one I never find a room for my family of four, got to take two rooms. And two, this time I wanted a room with a balcony but it's so hard in the description to find that particular room. Naturally I thought I booked that one but found out otherwise. I wish they could've changed it for me as the hotel was empty on a Monday but they weren't very keen.
The property is picturesque and an oasis of tranquility.
The driveway needs a bit of pothole maintenance but is still very drivable.
Great property. Breakfast is delightful. We’ll be back.
Old bathroom.
I woke up a little worse for wear after a wedding the night before, but the breakfast was exactly what I needed—it absolutely hit the spot. Everything on the plate was delicious.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the gentleman who served us was especially cordial and attentive.
The setting by the Yarra is beautiful. While waiting for breakfast, I took a short walk down to the river and watched a gust of wind carry autumn leaves across the rolling hills toward the water—it was a really lovely moment.
Christine was an outstanding host as were her staff. Their hospitality and friendliness were exceptional as was the location on the river and the beautifully furnished and kept premises . The breakfast was fantastic.
