Wonderful in every way!!
Pros:

Christine was an outstanding host as were her staff. Their hospitality and friendliness were exceptional as was the location on the river and the beautifully furnished and kept premises . The breakfast was fantastic.

Pros:

The staff were incredible.
Nothing was too much trouble, from waiting out of hours to ensure my elderly father got in and to his room at night safely, to cooking us a really great hot breakfast the next morning.

Cons:

The lighting everywhere but we do understand that to modernize lights would take away the atmosphere of the beautiful building.

A lovely place to stay. Very comfortable with a homely feeling. We would highly recommend.

Pros:

Beautifully located on the river. Private and expansive grounds. Lovely views. Immaculate rooms. Warm and clean with plenty of room. Bathroom pristine. Loved the toaster and microwave availability. Excellent breakfast and delightful friendly staff

Pros:

The property is set in a beautiful, natural location, with easy parking, a great breakfast and good showers. But most of all, the staff/owners are lovely - helpful, hospitable and kind

Cons:

It would depend on what you’re looking for. Oscars is a little distance from the town and amenities and very quiet on weekday evenings, so if you’re staying alone, it might feel a little isolated

Overall a great place to stay and would definately consider returning but booking a different room.
Pros:

Location!! Perfect on the river. Staff were helpful and nice. Breakfast was delicious, well cooked and presented. Clean and well presented.

We would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Such a beautiful and peaceful location. We thoroughly enjoyed sampling a local wine on the deck, watching and listening to the Yarra River. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The entire staff made us feel very welcome.

Wonderful stay, exquisit rooms and lovely staff. Breakfast was very generous - hot food and barista coffee. We had such a wonderful time. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beautiful with the river at the back. Such a nice property we will be back!

Pros:

We loved the classic atmosphere - with the modern touch. Relaxing to the Upper Yarra river bubbling along outside our terrace was exactly what we needed after our drive from Melbourne. Lovely chats with the owner and her mother was icing on the cake.
