Nothing

I love this hotel. I stay here every time I visit NYC. Beautiful, clean and the staff is superb. Can’t beat location either.
Of all the hotels in New York, we chose WestHouse Hotel Manhattan because it stood apart from the many generic, office-style hotels in the city. It had a real vibe—comfortable yet trendy—with beautiful rooms and consistently strong reviews.
A few months before travelling, however, we read some more recent reviews that caused concern, mentioning hidden charges, poor communication, and rudeness. I’m pleased to say our experience was nothing short of exceptional.
On arrival, the hotel had no record of our reservation—through no fault of theirs, but due to an issue with our booking agent. Thankfully, we had all relevant paperwork. The hotel manager came to see us personally, resolved the issue immediately, and created our reservation on the spot. Within minutes, we were checked in and heading up to our room on the 22nd floor, which offered stunning views over Times Square.
Our room was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. Housekeeping serviced it daily, and each time we encountered staff, we were greeted warmly with a good morning and genuine thanks for our stay.
Breakfast on the 23rd-floor terrace was very well catered for and set in a lovely space overlooking the city. The terrace was also a highlight in the evenings, particularly during the 5pm indulgence hours, where the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
Checkout was seamless. The team kindly stored our luggage so we could enjoy our final day and even provided a key card so we could return to the terrace for a coffee before heading to the airport—an exceptionally thoughtful touch.
The hotel’s location is excellent: around a 10-minute walk to Times Square and a similar distance to Central Park. The 57th Street subway station took us straight down to the Financial District and was very convenient, although we mostly chose to walk during our stay.
We will absolutely return to New York, and when we do, we will be staying at WestHouse again. We highly recommend this hotel and would like to thank the entire team for making our stay so memorable—especially as we were there to celebrate my 40th birthday.
The hotel staff greeted me warmly. The rooms need a facelift. I only gave three stars based on my leaving the hotel. I asked at the front desk if I should take Uber to JFK for $100 and he said I should take a taxi for a flat rate. The door guy got me a cab. Apparently him and the taxi driver made some sort of deal because when I got to the airport the taxi driver tried to charge me $105. The flat rate to JFK is $70 plus fees and tolls. The ride was not metered. When I told him I was not paying that, he said that is what the guy at the hotel told me. Buyer be ware and get your own cab.
Todo impecable y cómodo
terrible experience, staff not helpful, internet in and out, tv would work and not work, no a/c in rooms, daily cleaning service offered but not provided, door lock and handle broken, to get cooler air told to raise the windows as old building and dont turn on air during this time of year... expensive room cost and not worth the money... would not recommend again unless things resolved
Great staff, location, food
The rooms are a worn, chipped furniture, damaged mirrors definitely needs a refresh to be considered 5 star.
Location is 10/10
No value for money. Paid $900 for night and beside the location, the hotel is shouldnt be more than $400 max.
This is a lovely hotel with a consistently helpful staff. The amenities, including breakfast and a well-equipped gym, are excellent.
One stand-out was a very lovely and kind woman named Sonia who helped with the breakfast service and went out of her way to help us, as well as having a very positive attitude. Thank you, Sonia!
99.9% of everything about this hotel was excellent apart from the room lighting could be much better. A man ceiling light is required
Location perfect, staff had a great friendly team, rooms a little tired
Was stuck in the lift after it fell a few floors….
