Everything was a dump

It was really claustrophobic

The room had been "accidentally" given to two separate parties, mine and someone else. Housekeeping had to come in to re-clean the room. However, they left this other persons belongings in the room so a member of my party had to go out and give it to reception. Then a male memember of staff came over to explain what had happened, but was entirely putting the blame on the female member of staff that it honestly sounded like bullying. When brought up the fact of someone else having access to the room, they clearly had not thought of that and messed around with the key cards. I felt completely unsafe leaving my belongings in that room, even after the key cards were sorted, as I could not trust the staff. This is before the general state of the room. There is so much maintenance that needs to happen to a "4* hotel". There were handprint stains all over the wall, the flooring was all scuffed, the carpets grimey and stained and the air conditioning unit was full of mold. The beds were super uncomfortable to sleep in. Im not one to complain but this completely ruined my trip for me, despite me trying to be friendly to the staff.

Mattress could have been better, bit was ok

Blood all over the floor in one of the bedrooms. When I spoke to a member of staff at reception they said that they couldn’t do anything and that there was no other rooms. This made us feel very uncomfortable after reading other reviews of staff members walking into peoples rooms in the middle of the night. I felt too scared to go to sleep, which made the whole stay awful. The rooms look nothing like the images shown online. There were marks all over the wall and dirty carpets. I would never stay here ever again. When speaking to reception in the morning they gave us a 10% refund. We paid £100 each. Absolute joke!!

Needs work. Front door has a gap all the way round, water damage everywhere, mould in bathroom, aircon drips on to bed, aircon doesn’t cool.

Broken a/c unit. Water running down the wall to control panel. Been that way for a long time looking at the staining running down the wall. Only a matter of time until an electrical fault or worse!
Bathroom floor tiles cracked and moving as tiles have separated from adhesive.
Wall tiles have also split away from plasterboard.
No hot water on final morning so no showers
Main bed felt like a camp bed so both slept on single.

Staff weren’t very friendly, uncomfortable bed, no hot water, not the cleanest. Wasn’t aware also that parking was an extra cost on top of what we had already paid to stay. Overpriced.

Es gab eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer jedoch hat die nur bedingt gekühlt. Nach 24h Dauereinsatz hatten wir immer noch 26 Grad im Zimmer. Wir haben dem Hotelpersonal Bescheid gesagt jedoch konnten die nichts tun. Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Lift im Haus. Wenn man einen Kinderwagen hat, ist ein Zimmer im 1. Stock nicht ideal. Es hab keinen Haarföhn und keine Taschentücherbox im Zimmer.

Everything. The bedroom had no lighting. Our room was not changed nor were the lightbulbs fitted. We booked for 2 nights so were told that light will be fixed tomorrow. Next day they brought bedside lamps but without bulbs in them. We had to spend 2 nights for which we paid 300+ GBPs without a working light in our bedroom. Staff did not take our concer seriously.
