Pros:

Spacious rooms, exceptionally clean and very helpful, welcoming staff. Brillant location in the old town. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Lage top - Zimmer im Parterre eine Katastrophe

Die Lage ist top und sehr zentral

Cons:

Bei der Buchung war nicht angegeben, das das Zimmer kein Fenster hatte und es sich wie ein Verlies anfühlte. Lediglich die Zimmereingangstüre war verglast, sodass man vom Gang ins Schlafzimmer schauen konnte.

Bad experience
Pros:

Booked in the day before intended to stay.
Immediately got a phone call to tell me my road no windows and was this ok?
I said no. Lady on phone said I could up grade for more money.
I replied- no, I’d like to cancel. She said ok and the call was terminated.
I booked and paid for Hotel elsewhere.
The next morning, same lady rang to tell me she had discussed with her manager and I couldn’t cancel. I would have to pay cancellation fee - $100 which had already been deducted. I said this was very wrong as she had agreed to cancellation yesterday.
Lady became irate and there was no point continuing call.
I didn’t get my money back. Booking.com said they couldn’t help me.
Be very careful booking this Hotel.

A small fridge in the room would be helpful if only to store milk for coffee the next day (long life milk in the room would also work)

Don’t know when 4 stars were awarded but it needs to be downgraded
Pros:

Not much to be honest.

Cons:

Room was very small and dark, the window overlooked the internal staircases, which is advertised as courtyard, no natural light coming into the room. Room based on the stone staircase, could hear everything and every one walking past and their conversations! We arrived at 2pm and left our bags with reception as we couldn’t check in until 3pm. When we returned, reception was unmanned and our bags just sitting there, anyone could have taken them or stolen from them
