Hotel Katerberg

Whenever I visit my family in Germany I stay here. The property is nestled in the quiet beautiful countryside, every morning we enjoyed seeing the rolling hills with cows, sheep, donkeys milling about. I only booked a room and upon arrival was "upgraded" (no extra fees) to a Ferienwohnung, i.e we had an entire apartment for our 4 night stay. Staff is so accommodating and kind. Will stay here again, without looking for other places first.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Absolutely fabulous! We will definitely stay there again. Breakfast buffet was authentic German breakfast, beds were comfy and views were nothing but beautiful, serene countryside! Loved it!

Guests Personalized customer service. A lot of attention in extras like fresh water available every day, coffee or tea free self stations! Every morning breakfast in a table prepared for each guest/ family.

We were the only guests on our overnight stay as we travelled through Europe but our hosts took very good care of us. We had a lovely large room in a beautifully quiet setting but easily accessible to the main roads. Our breakfast was beautifully laid out for us in the morning and was delicious; just what we needed to see us on our way to Denmark. Thank you to our hosts.

Et rigtigt hyggeligt familiehotel på landet, ca. 15 km. fra Rendsburg. Venlighed oser ud af huset og man glæder sig til morgenbordet med hilsener, hjertebrød, hjertepuder og sågar hjerteslik.

Trevligt hotell på landet. Lugnt och tyst vilket vi uppskattade. God varierande frukost.
Bra wifi. Gratis parkering. hit kommer jag att återvända. Trevlig värdinna.

Værelset var flot og rent, man kan ikke spise aftensmad på hotellet . Det er kun morgenmad som man kan tilkøbe sig

Fint hotell i (väldigt) lugnt område. Stannade bara för genomresa och den närmaste (enda inom gångavstånd) visade sig vara stängd denna kväll, men det hindrade inte hotellvärdinnan från att leta vidare (hon försökte boka bord åt oss), hon skakade fram adress (och meny) till en annan utmärkt krog (bil- och inte gångavstånd, men ändå rätt nära). Frukosten utmärkt och prisvärd. Trevlig vistelse men väldigt ute på landet om man har behov av lite mer fart och fläkt än vi hade. Stora och fina rum.

Frukost är bra , bara hoppas åt kaffe blir bättre.

Usædvanligt, dejligt familiehotel. Man føler sig rigtig meget velkommen med små hjerter overalt og små hilsener.Flot rengøring. Vi havde et meget stille værelse med kik til får på græs. Her kommer vi gerne igen.
Tip: der er trapper op og ned, men der er også nogle værelser i niveau, hvis du er i god tid. Fin parkeringsplads og gratis WiFi.

Dejligt ophold på Hotel Katerberg. Vi kan give en stor og varm anbefaling.

Meget venlig værtinde og god morgenbuffet.

Lovely room and peaceful location. Nice restaurant by the lake about 1km away. Great breakfast and nice to have good value drinks available with an "honesty tray" for payment. Wifi signal wasn't great in our room but fine downstairs.

We stopped in this hotel while travelling to Denmark. We had two rooms (we are 5) comfortable and big. The breakfast in a very nice room is good ( homemade cakes also ) . The people are kind and gentle. The surrounding area is beautiful with the two lakes. I also highly recommend this accomodation for long stay .
