Noisy and an expensive stay not worth it. Put a bummer on Kyoto also.

Close to centre of town. Close to transport

Cons:

There was construction going on in the room next to ours. We were not able to have a sleep in or nap due to hammering or drilling. We were not informed of this prior to our stay, just informed on a note left in our room. If we knew how noisy it would be we would not have stayed, booking somewhere else.

Pros:

My stay at Kyoto Century Hotel was wonderful. The location is good and the rooms was always neat n tidy.The staffs there were very helpful and attentive especially Ms Muzuki Otsuka who took the extra effort in making my birthday celebration so special,I will always remember her kind and thoughtful effort.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Cons:

Bei der Anreise um 13:30 wollte man uns einen early-checkin für 50€ verkaufen, obwohl meine Frau gestürzt war und dringend ein Bett benötigte.
Das hat nichts mehr mit Service zu tun.

Pros:

Very disappointing experience with Kyoto Century Hotel. The room was unclean and smelled bad on arrival. There was undisclosed construction noise that made it impossible to sleep, along with constant train noise due to poor soundproofing. No hot water on the first day and worn-out furniture. I was even charged an unexpected tax not mentioned during booking. I had to check out early due to the disturbance. Despite providing evidence, no proper refund was offered. Extremely poor service and not worth the price. 🚫🏨
