Hotel Regina Montmartre

The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean, with staff cleaning room daily. Good location at very base of Long Hill up to Sacre Coure, walkable.

We were created by a quiet but efficient desk manager. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was comfortable and modern. The desk was helpful with answering our questions and arranging transportation to the airport at checkout. A good value.

Great area - very poor hotel. No facilities whatsoever. Taps ready to fall off basin and flood bathroom. Shower hook broken. Carpets threadbare. Strong smell of sewage in corridor and bathroom from time to time. Avoid

This hotel needs a complete overhaul, from the moment we got to our room the door lock was booked, then the walls and ceiling were mouldy and water damaged, the carpet was threadbare and only one shutter opened on the window.
The shower stopped working while using and then came on and scalded you.
The hook that held the shower up was broken.
Metal corner trim on the wall was hanging out and scraped my leg.
The bed sheet as much as it was clean it was torn
The area is a little scary of an evening.

This is the best option for the location, reasonably priced and friendly staff

The staff was very nice and helpful. Carpet not very nice, extra bed broken, shower leaked. Location was ok. Just old and would really benefit from remodeling. But, was a lower price and we made it work.

Clean room and bathroom and nice staff

So much mould in our room due to shower leaks and rotting carpet. Smallest bathroom, could hardly close the door if you were inside. Fantatic location.

No air-conditioning, water is dripping in the showers, the ceiling has a water stained dripping and it appears its peeling off

It’s in the area we wanted to stay. It is a little run down and there was so issues with our shower(water going all over the bathroom). The room was clean as was the washroom.

The problem is always expectations. I expected a three star hotel. But what I didn't realize is that a terrible run down motel in the United States is equivalent to a three star hotel in Paris.

In Paris, things are soo crowded that it takes 30 minutes for Uber to take you somewhere two miles away. This may seem like a central location but it is not.

We arrived at night, the place seemed dangerous. Lots of people who looked like they were on drugs or up to no good were loitering around. However, in the morning, no one was around. There were lots of people going for jogs, a nice little park thing in the middle of the street for more jogging, cool cobblestone roads, etc. it was nice compared to the night before.

The hotel itself is very run down (in my opinion) but I have nothing to compare it to. The room was small. The stairs on the 3rd floor were missing beams so my daughter could fall through them if not careful. We stayed on the second floor where the beams were not missing but my parents were on floor three.

Like two to three blocks down, there are some nice shops and the really nice places start, so that is a plus.

The staff there was great. Very nice and helpful.

PROS: good size room, large bed (at least queen size), great location (close to sacre Coer, places to eat, metro), helpful staff (they booked us a taxi to the airport), 24hr reception, decent wifi.

CONS: beautiful reception but our room was very run down. Air con did not work (but they had provided a fan), large bald patch on carpet, water damaged ceiling (and signs of water damage around the hotel in general).

All in all though, it was okay for the price and I would stay again.

Broken air conditioner and broken TV

Property very dirty, a room not big enough for one double bed fitted with 2 beds and called "Family Room", carpet disgusting dirty, first night room not cleaned because "the maid was sick, what you want", all furniture's rotten, the worst hotel I ever been in my life, concierge said "what do you expect, this is Paris" ????????? NOT SUGGESTED AT ALL - AVOID IT!

The staff were cooperative and responsive.The room was clean but, the shower door was broken. The toilet tissue holder was broken. However, with the price, i would say its overall okay

Staff is friendly and welcoming. The room that we had was very hot, we had a fan to cool it down, that helped to some extent. Room carpet is worn out, the walls have stains of water damage and there is no shower cabin, just the shower head fixed to the wall; whenever the shower is used, the whole bathroom is getting soaked and the water is seeping into the room (resulting in the floor being molded). Also, noisy area, facing a high traffic street. The breakfast was good though. Lots of restaurants in the area.
