A charming hidden oasis, serene, beautiful, and far more than just an airport hotel.
Pros:

This place is a true hidden oasis. From the moment we arrived, it felt calm, beautiful, and deeply considered, I kept saying, “Wow… it’s so beautiful here.”

The boutique hotel a fusion of colonial, Javanese, and Moroccan styles architecture and it has a timeless charm with every detail feels intentional and created with care. There are multiple spaces designed for genuine relaxation, quiet corners, comfortable sunbeds, and areas where you can properly switch off, which is rare in most hotels.

The spa, yoga offerings, and food are all excellent - everything supports rest, nourishment, and wellbeing.

The bedrooms are stunning - softest sheets, incredibly comfortable pillows, and without question the best night’s sleep we had in Bali. Luxury, but grounded and deeply restful rather than showy.

The staff are warm, attentive, and gracious throughout. Breakfasts are fantastic, and the whole atmosphere feels serene and effortless. This is way more than just an airport hotel stay!

Cons:

Honestly, very little. The only “mistake” we made was not staying longer — one night is not enough to fully experience what this place offers.

Lovely place, an quiet spot with a beautiful decor
Pros:

The feeling of stepping in an oasis, quiet, green, beautiful style, great eye for detail, lovely staff, good breakfast and complimentary tea.

Cons:

I wasn’t impressed by Jimbaran beach.
And also, we were scammed by someone claiming to be from the hotel. The staff knew about the hoax but failed to warn us. We ended up loosing a lot of money of which they were aware but besides promising to compensate us (they agreed they should’ve reached out to warn us of the scammers) we still have to see them follow through.

Pros:

This is my second stay at Balquisse Heritage Hotel this year, I absolutely adore it. It’s like stepping into the jungle book; every last detail is perfection, including the beautiful team who work at Balquisse.

Gorgeous stay
Pros:

Very quiet and relaxing place. Very beautiful design, amazingly maintained property, lots of greenery. Every corner is a piece of art. You feel yourself like in a movie. Out of all hotels I have been it’s one of the most beautiful. Delicious afternoon tea (not sure why they don’t include all types of coffee like cappuccino; you need to pay extra). Friendly receptionists. The room was exceptionally spacious (I believe I was upgraded). There are three beautiful pools; one of them operates 24/7, although unfortunately it was closed due to rain during my stay.

Cons:

Breakfast took quite a long time to arrive. The wait was noticeably long and at times it felt like the restaurant staff was a bit lost.

In terms of taste, the food was average (I wish it can be improved), although there was a good variety of healthy options available.

The room was very dark, which at times felt a little uncomfortable.

К сожалению, данный отель не 5 звезд:
- были постоянные проблемы с водой
- персонал все наши просьбы и бронирования забывал
- очень медленно реагировали на проблемы
- не очень чистые номера

Exceptional Care and Dedication

Honestly, I almost don’t want to write a review about this place — simply because this hotel is one of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels in Bali. We would honestly prefer to keep this place to ourselves. :p

The rooms are spacious, the food is excellent, and the staff is highly professional and dedicated. It’s great to see how the team is continuously working on improvements.

We would like to thank Team Balquisse Heritage for the wonderful experience. We ended up here because another booking went completely wrong, but this hotel made up for everything. The extra care and the multiple daily room services truly took all worries off our shoulders and gave us a deeply relaxed feeling.
