Ocean View Apartments

Personne pour l'accueil. On a essayé de joindre le manager pour des problèmes d'eau chaude l'électricité a sauté dès que l'on a voulu brancher la bouilloire électrique. Point positif la climatisation et la vue qui est magnifique.

Good location, nice views, fuss free. A little laxed on room up keep however.

Easy walk to town, good views & hassle free

It was a work trip but the view and comfort made it more pleasurable.

One of the main reason why I booked was free wifi and a great view and that what I got! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was amazing. Location is just above the New mall.

The heating. When you turn hot water on it sparks up the heating electrical box and thats a bit scary especially beacuse its located in the bathroom right next to the shower.

*Sheets no clean, *very Noisy, *nos parking 4 small car, *no available everytime Wifi, *no very clean showers.

Given the recent cyclone earlier this year and damages caused I was not aware of the building works going on at the hotel prior to my stay however there is plenty to do and see rather than sitting in the room all day so this was not an issue. The staff and owner were very accommodating and certainly made it a very pleasant break and I look forward to returning again soon.

A friend and I stayed here for a week. The room was comfy, the view spectacular, and the internet worked (we had been a bit worried as we had read a few reviews where the internet had not been working about a month ago, although I can't guarantee that it will work in the other rooms since we were right next to the office). It was a great base as it was only a short walk to the centre of Port Vila (about 10 mins) and having a kitchenette and access to a laundry was just what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I had some issues first night but all of the rectified next day. I has an ocean view but bit noisy because of one way hilly street with speeding cars. As the traffic volume is very low it was not a serious problem. The property has an on-site Thai restaurant serving real authentic Thai food 7 days week for lunch and dinner. The room has a full kitchen and you can cook 3 meals a day if preferred.

We arrived at 11.30 pm at night at the Ocean View Apartments by taxi which was arranged but no key was available. The taxi driver contacted the owner who told him to take us to the Tropicana resort for the night. I was worried about this but was pleased to see that the temporary accomodation was lovely. We were taken to the Ocean View Apartments in the morning and was please with the beautiful view we had from our balcony being on the 3rd floor.

Except for the fact that the hotel's a short walk from town and has some stunning views (both from the balcony and the restaurant there), the hotel itself was mediocre. There were no DVD-library as advertised, and when we asked about it, they said it was only for other hotels... Also we asked for one extra pillow, which they couldn't help us with. The wireless Internet is Bad in U.S. standards and kept disappearing. The shower only had hot water for the first five minutes of the shower if you're lucky.

Thevstaff at Ocean View were very accomodating. Our housekeeper, Ester, was wspecially friendly and helpful. The office staff very accomodating and nice too. It would be helpful to have drinking water on site. Also, please flag the air conditioner which hangs over the sidewalk. My husband hit his head on it. Overall, a good experience.

I had the appartment on the ground floor completely renovated with a little garden area at the front. The appartment is 15 min walk from town so very good, beautiful view in the morning. The owner is a nice lady too. We havent tried the pool as it was filled up few days before the end of our holiday. Room cleaning is average. I had to clean my floor a few time & i felt it wasnt clean. The only inconvenient is the cooking set. It is very limited for cooking & the saucepan were too small even for 2 people, plus no drainer for pasta or rice. Overall, i enjoyed my stay.

Es lag in einer Lagune, wunderschön ruhig. Die Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Alles war sauber.

We stayed for 3 days and was perfect for us as we have an 18 month old child. Lots of room and has a kitchen to prepare your own food if you want to or need to.

Positioned within walking distance to the city and with water views. the great thing about this was it is connected with a few other results where you have access to them, so even though you are not staying in a resort, you are still able to hang out at a choice of two different ones and use the facilities. It really is the best of both worlds.
