Very convenient if you plan to visit Zermatt.
Pros:

It is right in front of the train terminal where you can leave your car in the huge parking garage. The hotel with automatic check in NF check out so if you fill online form it is very easy to get the keys. Our room was small but clean and comfortable, so we enjoyed the stay.

Cons:

Am avut cazare la hotelul respectiv, însă mi s-a spus că nu mai sunt locuri disponibile și am fost mutat la un alt hotel, Fara Spa & Sauna. Problema este că, pentru a beneficia de facilitățile de spa și saună incluse în cazare, a trebuit să merg aproximativ 5 minute pe jos până la locația respectivă. Consider că această situație nu este corectă, deoarece rezervarea mea a fost făcută pentru hotelul inițial și mă așteptam ca toate facilitățile să fie disponibile în aceeași locație.

Only downside was the heating in the room . It was a hot summer and we couldn’t turn down the heating even though we got a staff member to come up to the room and try sort it out

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt im Matterhorn Inn
Pros:

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt im Matterhorn Inn in Täsch und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel ist sehr modern, ausgesprochen sauber und technisch wirklich top ausgestattet. Man merkt an vielen kleinen Details, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Komfort gelegt wird. Besonders angenehm war aber auch die herzliche und freundliche Art des gesamten Personals – wir wurden durchweg sehr freundlich empfangen und behandelt.

Das Frühstück war für uns ein echtes Highlight. Es gab richtig gute, frische Brötchen, ein tolles Rührei und – für mich besonders wichtig 😉 – super Bacon. Auch sonst hat wirklich nichts gefehlt. Besonders schön fanden wir den leckeren Käse aus der Region. Dazu guter Kaffee und ein sehr schönes Ambiente, in dem man entspannt in den Tag starten konnte.

Auch der Wellnessbereich hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er ist zwar nicht riesig, aber dafür ausgesprochen modern und durchdacht ausgestattet. Genau die richtige Größe, um nach einem langen Tag in den Bergen noch einmal richtig abzuschalten und zur Ruhe zu kommen.

Sehr praktisch ist auch der Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Hotel für 10 Schweizer Franken pro Tag – aus unserer Sicht absolut fair. Direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich außerdem ein kleiner Discounter, sodass man sich unkompliziert mit Getränken oder Verpflegung für den Tag eindecken kann.

Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof ist natürlich ideal, gerade wenn man nach Zermatt möchte. Trotz der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Bahnhof war es bei uns angenehm ruhig – für uns eine perfekte Kombination aus zentraler Lage und Erholung.

Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über das Zimmer-Upgrade, das wir bekommen haben. Dadurch hatten wir ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick in Richtung Zermatt. Das war wirklich spitze und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch einmal besonders gemacht.

Alles in allem haben wir uns im Matterhorn Inn sehr wohlgefühlt.
