The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom has a spectacular shower .
The room also faces the mountains and the breakfast is delicious!
It is near a gas station and there is no trees hiding the gas station. If there were shrubs or a wall to hide the train station would be more pleasant to stay outside in the lounge without looking at working people around our leisure space.
There is no area for a sun bath outside the building. Would be nice to have outside sofas to get sunbath.

Custo e beneficio

We had a great experience at the Hotel Matterhorn for a short 4 day stay. The room was great and large enough even for 3 persons, with a balcony with mountain views. The staff were all very friendly and professional and made us feel right at home. The standout feature was their restaurant and we ate in every night. The food was excellent and the steak I had was next level. However, we found breakfast to be disappointing and rather expensive for what it was. My overall rating remains excellent.
Localização, vista dos quartos e equipe cordial e disponível.
Nada a mencionar
Täsch is not Zermatt - it is one train stop away. The hotel has a deal with a taxi for an inexpensive one way or round trip to Zermatt which is a couple Swiss Francs cheaper than the train (which may be accessed directly across the road). The taxi takes you for all intents and purposes to the same place as the train in about the same amount of time. Täsch is a lovely peaceful wide spot in the road to Zermatt and is worth exploring. There are a couple of springs in town available for drinking or filling water bottles. There are snow packed hiking trails.
The lobby was small and frequently crowded with guests and visitors. I spent most of my time in Zermatt or in my room. The restaurant is quite good but the pizza shop a short walk away is more affordable. If you're new to Switzerland they run on CHF or Swiss Francs and not Euros. And francs are worth more and it takes more francs to buy stuff like food and drinks. A CHF is about $1.25-$1.30. I didn't ski every day and took the train back down the valley to visit the quaint little towns on the way up from Visp.

Jai finalement été dirigée vers l’hôtel Porto Cervinio du même groupe et de rang supérieur. Excellent rapport qualité prix
Superbly clean, friendly and very comfortable … very modern and always welcoming.
There is only one small issue, the rooms are very warm and you have to leave the windows open to keep it cool, which seems a waste of… it is a small point but can be uncomfortably warm .
