Leisure Vacations Goldfield Lake Resort

The location was right on the lake but all driveRrs found a hard time finding it. There is no signage on main street. Its located after going through a dirt road.
The room was not what it looked like in the photos. It is clean and a.c. also worked well. Washroom didnt have any toilet paper so we were glad we had our own. There was also no hot water.
Breakfast was made to order. The pool was like a cesspool. It was disgusting and i would recommend no one go in there.
The entire lights of the hotel are shut down at night so you cant really step outside after 10pm. It was really strange and scary.
I got a massage at the hotel which was alright. You can bargain. The only thing is they put tonnes of oil on you but dont provide shampoo in the rooms!
This hotel should not be on expdia. We use expdia a lot and rely on the ratings. This hotel was not correctly rated according to expedia standards.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY WITH FAMILY. MY DAUGHTER ENJOY EACH MOMENT. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT.

Room service was bad and food was pathetic and very expensive on top of it. Lawn grass was a foot high n full of insects. View of river was good.

Stayed one night with 3 people whilst wedding planning.

Pros:
-excellent service
-good breakfast
-good/excellent grounds
-reasonable price
-hot shower
-ac worked fine
-bed comfortable and surroundings fine a nights sleep

Cons
-flies all around the sink which obviously hadn't been cleaned. Then had to ask for them to be sprayed whixh was promptly done but then we just had dead flies around the sink.
-hand towel and pillow cases visibly dirty.

Helpful and friendly staff..excellent food...great place.good rooms
but the only thing i dont like is the hot water only between 7and 10..i hope solve that in the future.

At the end of dirt road but worth it. Right on the lake nice and quiet.Convenient to backwaters but it is the staff which made our stay special. Servers ,housekeeping and management were all helpful and friendly.A lot of hotels have restaurants but this one has a real one. All meals we had were just made fresh and delicious Kerala style. The property is dated on exterior but rooms are clean and well maintained

A very peaceful and lovely location, perfect for relaxing. As name suggest it is literally lake side, swimming pool has facing Lake/sea. View from the room is breathtaking. I was there for 3 Nights and they upgrade my stay to suites with leaving area.
The staff was extremely helpful, The rooms ambience is really very good. resort is well maintained. The swimming pool is clean. In all, a very delightful experience.

Welcoming and comfortable stay. Slept very well as mattress was excellent (rare to find in India). Unfortunately, hot water was only available in the morning 7am to 10am. Breakfast was very good but bit slow. Overall a good experience.

Costumer service was hard to find in Kerala but this place made you feel like there only concern was to make you happy!!

the hotel wasnt worth the money spent.the room was normal sized with AC and basic amenities and there was no special facilities as advertised. dissapointed!!

Good rooms. Nice, clean atmosphere. Could do with more onsite recreational activities. Need to take Cate of their water problems. Did not get regular hot water. Had to remind them to turn on the central heater multiple times. Cab services are expensive. Make external arrangements to save money.
