Front desk staff not very welcoming.

A nice place to stay for a short visit. We were happy with our stay. One comment I would make is that they charge extra for a roll out bed. I find it a bit strange because I booked room for 4 guests. But when we checked in front desk told us that it is only for 3 guest. If you want a fourth guest to stay then you would need to get a roll out bed for extra cost. I think this is hidden fee which was not disclosed at the time of booking.

I booked stay with breakfast but was denied by the holiday inn staff saying expedia didn’t sent them coupon

Bored

The staff was was very welcoming and respectful. It took a while to check in due to the rooms not being ready. The rooms are large, spacious and clean. Hotel lobby is spacious and well decorated. The toiletry dispensers were empty in the shower. I really appreciated the hotel staff accommodating my request for a late check out. Hotel pool area needs better lighting, it is dimly lit at night. Towels were not available pool side.

Towels dirty, washroom door lock didnt work, no mini bar fridge in the room even if they displayed the list of all mini bar items.

the rooms were very dirty, floors were sticky, this was really unfortunate

We booked a room for three adults with two twin beds. But the beds were two single beds instead. How could three adults sleep on two single beds? When we approached the front desk, we were told that the hotel does not have twin beds at all. We were given a spring bed instead, which was very uncomfortable.

Reception does not pickup the phone and no early check in is required. Belly Boy staff to pick up luggage is lazy and rude.

Always used to stay here when in Amritsar but the hotel has lost its charm. Service level have dropped, room conditions are not upto standard and worse has to be reception which should be the best but hiring people with more focused on counting money and chit chatting than customer device. Truly sad to see the drop in service and just overall Taj experience you expect from Taj properties Other hotels have surely gained

Worst hotel I ever had. Television is not working,hot water kettle is not working,Washroom door doesn’t locked if I tried to close it wasn’t,Fridge is not working.I complained to manager but no action was taken.Thought out the day they didn’t change it.When we came back at 10:00 pm at that time some things are working.

Very well located hotel, but housekeeping / linen is in a very poor state. Towels are old and look mouldy and housekeeping doesn't even know they have to put hand towels in the bathroom. YYou have to ring housekeepong for even a glass!! Very poorly equipped rooms.

Food definitely can be made better. It is better to step out of the hotel for a meal.

Staff is courteous but they also cant do anything if you give a suggestion. Used to be a good hotel but has really fallen in standard! The saving grace is the location!

Excellent stay

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn a couple of years back , but this time we found the hotel looking shabby. Linen is old and run down, laundry is not fresh. Only one restaurant is open so you are limited in the hotel itself .

Staff is very helpful but the condition of the hotel has really gone down . Major upgrade needed in the rooms and linens
