Beautiful hotel, on the cliff overlooking the sea. Gorgeous views! The staff was kind and friendly. All were very accommodating. Great location with a 10 minute walk to the main town square.

This was the best hotel I have been to. From day one my wife and I could not find any fault with it. From the ladies that cleaned the rooms, to the reception team, bar staff and breakfast staff, thank you to luigi, Giovani and Teresa. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The guys who looked after the pool and the bathing platform at the sea. The views were to die for, having breakfast looking over the bay of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius was out of this world. Our room was overlooking a orange grove, was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast had a great section, from eggs to fish and cakes to mozzarella.

We didn't eat the evening meal, as we wanted to sample the food from different restaurants. All I can say that it met with all our expectations. We loved it so much, we've already booked for eleven nights next year. Grazie to all at the the Grand Hotel Riviera.

The views and location of this hotel can’t be beat. If you’re planning a visit to Sorrento, I would recommend staying here. It’s just a short walk to the city center and the marina from The Grand Hotel Riviera. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms and the entire hotel is very clean. The beach club was fun and the service was excellent. Also, the included breakfast was a great way to start the day.

The hotel staff and especially the dining room staff were amazing. Really good value for money.
The dining was fantastic, with sweeping views of the bay and the boats. The menu had a broad and varied selection. In the dining room, Giovanni, head waiter, was incredibly competent and his staff, Luigi, Francesco and others were so very helpful.
I cannot say enough about this hotel and the restaurant.

Enjoyed our short break in Sorrento. Hotel is spotlessly clean, most staff very friendly & always greeting you, food & drink all very enjoyable. Great location only 5-10 minutes walk from Sorrento centre. Only loses 1 star as we experienced a very loud wedding reception on the Saturday & could not sleep. Other than that a very good base for our stay.

This was our second year in a row staying at Grand Hotel Riviera, and my second time leaving a review—which says a lot about how much we love this place.

The team here is truly incredible. Bengie, Francesco, Gianni, and so many others I wish I could name all went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their hospitality is genuine, thoughtful, and a big part of what keeps bringing us back.

The location is amazing, the service is exceptional, and the amenities make the entire experience feel effortless and relaxing. Every year, leaving gets harder—we’re so sad to go, but incredibly grateful we were able to spend another year at this special hotel.

We already can’t wait to come back.

O hotel é muito bem localizado. Tem beach club particular com acesso por elevador. A vista é estonteante! Os funcionários são educados e solícitos. O café da manhã é excepcional! Piscina linda. A decoração é de extremo bom gosto.

This was aour first (hopefully not last) visit to Sorrento.
Since we arrived at the hotel, the staff made us feel like royalty, very attentive and courteous.
The room was very clean, and every day service excellent.
Breakfast is buffet style and has a variety of hot dishes as well as cold meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fresh bread, variety of wonderful pastries, fresh fruit, homemade jams, etc. They can make omelets upon request.
Dinner has a great menu, and they can make different things for vegetarians, if you ask they will provide you with a variety of options to choose from. All these with a wonderful view of Vesuvius, Sorrento, great to look out sunsent, live music and excellent service.
Location is great, just a few blocks from Piazza Tasso, where you can go down to marina for ferry, near many restaurants and shops.
We definitely recommend this place and had a wonderful experience here.

A beautiful hotel with stunning vistas of Vesuvius and the bay. Convenient to downtown Sorrento. The room was clean and well maintained. The best part was the amazing staff. Giovanni and Luigi in the dining room were very hospitable and friendly. Always willing to answer questions even if only related as to where to go or what to see. The front desk crew were extremely helpful. Food was great.

Perfekt läge m 10 min prom in till stan där det är rörigt. På hotellet lugnt och tyst. Hela hotellet byggt med god italiensk smak. Supermodernt, antikviteter, modern konst, elegant rakt igenom. Utsikten makalös. Fina terrasser och hiss ner till bad o solstolar. Bästa möjliga frukost. Bra mat t lunch i middag. Mycket vänlig och kunnig personal. Jättetrevligt rum och elegant badrum.

This was our second time at this hotel , it’s in a stunning location . The hotel is beautiful, the staff are amazing nothing is too much bother , we even received an anniversary treat to our room which was a lovely touch
We booked a room with a side sea view and had requested the same room as we had last year , but unfortunately we were given a room opposite , which still had the side sea view but was obscured some what by the trees which was disappointing, it also seemed noisier than the other side , especially from the guests above.
But we had a fantastic holiday and would stay here again if we are ever in the area again
