The positive review comments for this hotel are bang on - we had a wonderful three night stay with friends. The customer service was outstanding - both before and during our visit. A very clean and well run hotel in a great, quiet and safe neighborhood. The staff were very attentive to gluten free dietary requirements for the breakfast. Good value for the high quality of service and facility. All staff were able to comfortably converse in English.

Very happy with our stay at Home. A great introduction to Buenos Aires. Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, explaining transport and ways to exchange money. Also great food, particularly breakfast choices. Loved the garden too, both the pool and watching the butterflies and hummingbirds. Would very happily return.

Exquisite service during our 5d stay at this nice cozy boutique hotel February 2026 . Clean delicate rooms. Nice breakfast. Perfect small garden in the back with clean pool. Situated in charming Palermo with lots of restaurants/places in walking distance. Using uber it’s situated just a short ( and cheap!) 10min ride to city city parts as San Telmo ,Boca etc more south in city. We did not try spa service, which was offered in the basement part of the hotel.

We spent 5 wonderful days at Home Hotel. The Palermo neighborhood is the place to be, with its vibrant restaurants, shops and bars. Home’s staff was so attentive and helpful with reservations and recommendations that were so spot on and the beautiful private garden/pool area was such a perfect place to unwind- we never wanted to leave. We had to keep reminding ourselves that there was a city out there that needed to be explored!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly and they helped us organize many day excursions while were in Buenos Aires. The breakfast was always lovely and again, the staff was great. We would stay here again! Clean, friendly, room was great.

Our time here passed much too quickly! Loved everything about this place, but especially their employees!! Each one of them made us feel at home! From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the restaurant/bar staff, our highest expectations were surpassed.
Their concierge service was a tremendous help! Hard to believe how many great places to dine were nearby! Love the neighborhood! Oh, our bed was quite comfortable and plenty of nice pillows, plus great A/C!
The hotel is attractive, hosts a very nice breakfast w delicious coffee. Garden dining also an option. We enjoyed dining there at dinner too. Service was very personable by the way!
The only suggestions I have for improving the place is to have more as well as easier accessible outlets for charging cellphones, etc. A bigger ledge to hold opened suitcases would be helpful too.

We stayed at Home for 7 nights. The location in Palermo is excellent, lots of great restaurants within walking distance. All of the positives in the other reviews are true, so I'll try to highlight some new things. My favorite thing about the room was the shower - great flow rate and temperature control. If you are vegetarian or like healthy foods, you have three great veggie restaurants all within a 5-minute walk of Home - Let It V, Casa Munay, Artemisia. We started in a Standard Room and switched to the Garden View ... for the extra $30/night, we felt it was well worth it. We had room 12 which we liked a lot. Avoid room 10 if possible. When you checkin, Home gives you a small recommendation book for Buenos Aires, which we found to be helpful and pretty spot on.

As other reviews have mentioned, the service staff are all great and readily accessible. The included breakfast is nice, although perhaps a bit limited in selection. The rooms are nice and spacious enough, I'd say the linens and bed are a tad below luxury quality but still comfortable.

Overall, I think Home is an excellent choice for a stay in BA if you like this neighborhood (Palermo Hollywood). Recoleta would have been the other neighborhood I might have considered staying in, but you get more value staying at Home.

Utterly charming boutique hotel in a great location.
Home Hotel is beautifully designed, with great style. Really well situated in an area with interesting shops, bars and restaurants.
Fantastic staff for whom nothing is too much trouble, they make all guests feel welcome and special. We loved the garden which was a great retreat from expeditions around the city.
Our room, one of the suites had a fantastic large outdoor deck and was very comfortable.
Great breakfasts, nice options cover all bases. Importantly, excellent freshly made barista coffees.
We loved this hotel, would definitely return, and recommend to others.

We loved staying at the Home hotel, it is well located in Palermo, Hollywood, with lots of restaurants, bars and interesting shops nearby. The hotel is small, boutique and very cool. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The breakfast was wonderful - delicious range of pastries, choice of eggs, yogurt & fruit, toast, coffee - and eating it in the garden is the best, surrounded by flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel at Home! Thank you!

It's a fantastic, tranquil location. I enjoy it very much and always stay there when I am in Buenos Aires. It's human sized, personal and a great location. Highly recommend for a calm experience.

This is such a hip/cool boutique hotel with great vibe and awesome staff…. Loved staying here! Breakfast was delicious and staying in Palermo was wonderful in that there are so many cafes and things to do

Home Hotel was an excellent base for our exploration of Buenos Aires. The staff, from check-in, through breakfast, and housekeeping were helpful and attentive. The locations is just right - not too far away from things, but not so close that street noise and activity impinges on the quiet of the hotel.

Home Hotel was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires. From the moment we arrived, the warm mid-century modern design and intimate atmosphere made us feel instantly relaxed. Despite being a small hotel, everything is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully maintained, creating a calm, welcoming space that feels special.

We stayed in the Loft Room, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and stylish, with generous outdoor areas — including a BBQ — that made it feel like our own private hideaway. The step-in bath was a real treat after long days exploring the city. Every detail of the room felt intentional and luxurious.

The location is fantastic. Palermo is safe, vibrant, and incredibly walkable. We loved strolling to the nearby gardens and parks, visiting the zoo, and exploring the endless cafés and bakeries on every corner. Two of the city’s best restaurants, Don Julio and El Preferido, are just a short walk away.

Breakfast at the hotel was delicious every morning — the cinnamon rolls were unforgettable — and the lunch we had on our final day was one of the best meals of our whole trip. The food and drinks were consistently excellent.

A special mention goes to the wonderful staff, who made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Their warmth and kindness made a huge difference. And the hotel cat added a touch of charm we looked forward to every day.

We were two couples in our 60s/70s on a 4 week tour of South America. In Buenos Aires we stayed at Home Hotel. It’s a lovely boutique hotel centrally placed for access to restaurants and the main sites of the city.
