Hotel Belvedere, Torre Dell'Orso

Very nice. Amazing breakfast

Torre Dell Orso is a one horse town, possibly with room for two horses, being a small resort on the north coast of Puglia. It has minimal facilities, including a few restaurants but a stonking pizzeria in the main square. The area is dominated by a fabulous long sand beach catching the northerly winds, often a surfers’ beach. The water is fabulous and it is great fun. It is backed by a series of high sand dunes and scrub vegetation. Each end of the beach rises to attractive promontories of cliffs. On the east cliff stands the old tower after which the resort is named, and immediately alongside is the Hotel Belvedere. This is a modern glass fronted three story hotel of a nominal 3 to 4 stars. It is efficient and friendly, albeit the rooms which are not sea facing have a very poor view of back roads. There is a roof terrace with reclining sun loungers and a plunge pool, looking down on the beach. It’s main distinction is being probably the cheapest beach hotel on the north coast, so a great combination of being immediately adjacent to such a fabulous beach and yet being relatively inexpensive. You get what you pay for, but in this case it is a pleasant place to hang out. Try very hard to get a sea facing room. The rooms are very average with only small verandas, but again you get what you pay for. Breakfast is below average, mainly because the cooked food is laid out in unheated containers and is cold thereafter for anybody other than early risers. Chef: please invest in tray warmers.

Beds are great, service ok unless staff in restaurant. But, food in restaurant were not even ok - meat were not ok at all.

Les chambres sont petites.
La piscine est ridiculement peu profonde avec à peine 50 cm de profondeur.
Par contre l’hôtel est très propre.
Mentions spéciales pour le petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de qualité dans les produits et un service vraiment impeccable. Merci. Gabriella

Hotel bellissimo con una vista mozzafiato,personale gentilissimo e pronto ad esaudire tutte le richieste .
Piscina al 3’ piano una cartolina ,con bar annesso dove poter fare l’aperitivo in santa pace .
Cibo buonissimo,vi consiglio di mangiare in questo hotel perché si mangia veramente bene.
Ma la mia nota super positiva va a tutto lo staff.

Really decent hotel with a good breakfast and decent selection. The rooms are basic but everything is there. Think I’d call this a 3.5 star based on the rooms and the very small pool BUT the food in the evenings is EXCELLENT

Ottimo albergo in posizione splendida sulla spiaggia delle due sorelle. Camera ampia e pulita con terrazzino con vista incredibile. Staff disponibile e efficiente: un particolare ringraziamento a Veronica che con gentilezza e professionalità ha prontamente risposto a qualsiasi nostra richiesta e ci ha dato molti consigli per il nostro soggiorno.
Ottimo anche il ristorante dell' albergo.
Assolutamente consigliato.

Everything was perfect, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Room so we had a perfect sea view. The breakfast was excellent! The staff on the reception and in the restaurant were very kind and made our stay perfect!

The view and the outdoor pool located in the terrace of the hotel are amazing

Räume gegen oben und unten sollten besser abgedichtet sein. Man hört Toiletten sehr gut inkl. Spülung.

Es war alles Super,freundlich und sauber.

Absolutes Highlight auf der Reise. Obwohl ich sehr spät angekommen bin, war der Empfang sehr effizient, Upgrade inklusiv. Zimmer super sauber mit direkter Sicht auf's Meer. Frühstück ist ebenfalls umfangreich und lecker. Absolute Empfehlung!

Estadia ótima. 3 diarias com otimo café da manhã. Jantamos as 3 noites no hotel, comida muito boa, custo honesto. Como fomos no inverno, nos deram um upgrade para um quarto com vista do mar. Atendimento perfeito. Importante: lugar para recarregar o carro elétrico.

Hôtel très bien situé à flanc de falaise, vue mer, la plage juste à côté.
Il y avait un bar en face avec une soirée bruyante, mais qui s'est terminée tôt vers 22h, donc pas de dérangement pour dormir.
Les chambres sont petites mais bien équipées.
Restaurant de l'hôtel à éviter, aucun produit frais.
Idem pour le petit déjeuner, un peu de pain frais serait le bienvenu, tout est industriel.
Personnel très accueillant et souriant, merci !
