Absolutely stunning property! The room was beautifully appointed, with small patio. The beds were comfortable. We had a bathtub in the bathroom. It added to a luxuries experience.
The food in the restaurant is great.
staff are friendly and helpful. The only issues is the hot water supply in bathroom that it's not stable. We had issue at both lunch and dinner.
Beautiful boutique hotel, welcoming, comfortable, decorated . 10 min easy walk to the central square. Large room, large bathroom. Attention to detail - tea/coffee tray in the room, good toiletries, scented bath salt. Excellent restaurant
As the food is great and the place is beautiful, often there are parties held there. We stayed 2 nights, the first night there was a party, but it finished by 9pm, so it was. Bath is big, but high, some people might struggle to step in
Everything about this place is elegant, classy, and beautiful. I expected our stay to be amazing but it blew away my already high expectations. The service is absolutely excepcional and all of the staff are very friendly and pleasant. One of the waiters, upon hearing at dinner that I was having trouble eating because of stomach pain/discomfort, offered to bring a digestive tea to our room afterwards and this tea helped me feel so much better. This is just one of the many examples of how well we were taken care of here. We stayed in the grand suite and that room is the most gorgeous, vintage hotel room I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for top notch service and stunningly designed spaces to relax in while staying in Antigua. The food is also incredible. Finally, I have to mention that we were able to see the Volcano Fuego erupting at night from the terrace rooftop that is accessible by stairs just outside of the room we stayed in. It was like the cherry on top of everything that we already loved. Thank you so much to all the staff at Mesón Panza Verde. We are so grateful 💕

We enjoyed the ambiance and the views to the volcanoes from such a great location in Antigua. The staff were nice enough to upgrade us to a bigger and better room away from the restaurant.
Our first room was very small and musty.

The breakfast was tasty and always fresh when it arrived. Some days we waited over 30 minutes for our avocado and toast or eggs on toast breakfast when there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant.

In a country which is famous for their cacao, and a hotel that claims to have one of the best restaurants in Antigua, they only offered coffee and a very basic black or digestive tea. They just didn’t offer cacao. We were there for 5 nights and our toiletries were never replenished. The shower was never quite hot enough.
The property was stunning, such a comfortable and elegant atmosphere.
