Great overnight stay to see the sights of Nottingham
Pros:

The place was new fresh and modern

Cons:

We couldn’t get a standard ham and cheese panini on the day as it was a Sunday lunch menu but we only wanted bar snacks and variety wasn’t great

Excellent hotel design, great staff and beautiful setting
Pros:

Nice modernist architecture and - if you have business on campus - a great central location within University Park, a lovely green campus

Cons:

Was hoping to book a swim at the nearby David Ross Sports Village but all slots were already booked when I arrived (at the earliest possible check-in time).

Handy for Nottingham University Sports Centre.
Pros:

Proximity to the University sports centre for our event. The rooms were comfortable and clean throughout.

Cons:

The parking was confusing and you were only permitted so many hours before it ran out, which was a nuisance. We ended up having to park all day at the university sports centre as we could not break off to shift cars about.

Apart from the traffic, excellent!
Pros:

Property excellent.

Cons:

Wasn’t aware of extensive roadworks and road closures around the hotel. This caused serious delays.

Did the job nicely - will definitely come again.
Pros:

The room was nice, clean and quiet. The login process is very easy. Free parking is a very useful feature as public transport to the hotel doesn't really work, for me at least.

Cons:

Whilst I like a firm mattress, it was a little too firm even for me.
Similar to last year when I stayed, the Flexipass app worked to let me into the rooms and my room once only, after that, lots of flashing green lights but no door unlocking, so, like last year, I had to get a physical key card too.
