Hugh Stewart House is located 5 minutes drive from the De Vere Orchard Hotel (10-15 minute walk) in a Grade II listed building on the University of Nottingham campus. Guests will be required to collect their keys from the De Vere Orchard Hotel reception on arrival.

The staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast choices were good, with a wide variety of tastes catered for. The security card system was extremely good and easy to use.

Lacked having a fridge in the room
Comfortable bed, good sized room. Bar staff were really lovely and always willing to help and happy to fill my water bottle with ice. Really good cocktails!
We tried to pre book breakfast for two mornings as was £5 cheaper than turning up in the morning. Was told we could just turn up in the morning and explained that we wanted to pre book as would save us £20. The member of staff checked and said it was cheaper to pre book but then said we couldn't pre-book? Don't really understand why? Especially as the paperwork in our bedroom said to pre book at reception and same with the website. Ended up going into Beeston to get breakfast instead.

The restaurant offer is much improved - enjoyed our meal there. Staff are very friendly and polite. We were going to the tennis so ideal location. Free parking is a bonus. The relatively recent revamp of the public area decor has been very well done.
The fact that there aren't baths in every room. Include a request on every booking but very hit and miss as to whether it's granted.
