AMOY by Far East Hospitality

We chose this boutique hotel since we wanted something smaller and personal and we got it! The hotel is incorporated into historical Chinatown buildings so you won't get an impersonal high rise hotel and the rooms may be a bit different, but that is the charm. The staff at this hotel goes above and beyond expectations to make the guests feel at home. I never ever received a personalized birthday card and cake from a hotel anywhere in the world,... but I did here. I need to call out the entire hotel staff for a job well done, but especially Xue Qi and Jay for making this a hotel experience of a lifetime!!

The location is excellent with just few steps away from the famous attractions and easy connection to the MRT. The room is nice but just a bit small. Service is nice and all the staffs are helpful. But the sound insulation is not so good, can hear people talking at the corridor clearly. Overall experience is really nice and will definitely recommend people coming

At first sight, the place made a very good impression. It is nicely furnished and thoughtfully decorated, giving the apartment a lot of character and a warm atmosphere. The location is very central, which made it easy to reach everything. The metro is right next to the hotel, which makes getting around the city very convenient. Despite being in such a central area, it is situated in a very quiet zone, so the nights were peaceful and silent.

What a beautiful hotel this is. Our stay was magical from the minute we arrived through the museum part. Sabrina was the receptionist on duty, and she greeted us with a smile, a refreshing towel and a cup of tea before she took us up to our room on the 4th floor. What a fantastic room, everything you could want, coffee machine, kettle and a range of tea and coffee, drinks in the fridge. The decor fitted in with the style of the hotel perfectly. The lift was fast, we heard no noise whatsoever, bed was so comfy, loved it. Our breakfast was in the cafe outside, oh my what a choice to choose from. I fell in love with the kaya toast, daughter far more adventurous, omlettes, granola and more for her.
Sabrina also gave us the museum tour during our stay, it was lovely to learn all about the history of the building, felt so honoured to be able to stay here.
As it was Chinese new year, we had a go with writing Chinese script, that was fun.
Before leaving we used the sister hotel, round the corner, The Clan, to use their shower facilities. Very nice to be able to freshen up for our long flight home. Sabrina again helped and organised our taxi to take us to the airport, which we caught by the clan again.
The staff were all very helpful with any queries we had about traffic times to the zoo, places to visit etc.
The Amoy is a truly wonderful hotel, we had a fantastic stay here, and we are both looking forward to coming back here again next year.

We have had a wonderful stay at Amoy Hotel. Beautifully old and historic building. The staff were amazing. So helpful and obliging. The Hotel itself is very central to China Town and the train station.

L’emplacement

A lovely small hotel, in a good spot. Lovely staff, who are very eager to make sure your stay is a good one. Although breakfast not in the hotel it was only a few steps away and was enjoyable. Room was spotlessly clean, but maybe the layout could have been better and not quite as pictured on their website. Couldn't open the windows in the room we were in, but assume there was a valid reason for this. I would stay here again if I travelled to Singapore again.

This is a great place to stay for easy access to the main sites in Singapore. The hotel and room was spotless and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

Loved the vibes - was giving traditional Loved that the hotel opens up to a mini museum before you rwach reception! The staff were also extremely helpful - I left my passport in a driver's car and the staff helped me contact the driver and were patient with me while waiting through this whole ordeal! The room was also very cozy and cute. I loved how environmentally conscious the hotel was, especially with all the labelled reminders around the room. Great experience!

Good location close to a Hawker Centre and MRT. Great to stay in a hotel with history. Great room with comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean and quiet. Excellent and helpful service and nice amenities.

A equipe do hotel é fantástica e recebe os hóspedes com muita qualidade e eficiência. Pedi orientações sobre como chegar nas atrações e sempre fui muito bem atendida e orientada! A equipe que cuida do café da manhã também é excelente e trabalha com rapidez e qualidade, e é possível escolher entre opções previamente definidas em um menu. A equipe da limpeza é muito eficiente e sempre cuidou de tudo com muito empenho, realizando ótimo trabalho! O quarto era muito silencioso e a estrutura do hotel contribui muito para isso, com uso de madeira e tapete. A decoração é de bom gosto e o hotel, muito cheiroso, o que contribui para o bem-estar dos hóspedes. Parabéns a todas as equipes pelo trabalho primoroso e acolhedor!
