Hôtel Locomo - Gare de Lyon Bastille

Convenient for Gare de Lyon, basic but clean.

We were given a room in the annexe to the hotel. It was the ground floor room 01 and was a little noisy being just by the front door.
The room was clean and we were only staying for one night before catching a train from Gare du Lyon which is an easy walking distance

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Locomo -- Gare de Lyon Bastille! Great location, within a 5-minute walk from the train station! Great staff, making us feel comfortable from the moment we stepped through the door -- greeting us with a smile everyday and making sure that we were having a great stay. The room, as well as the bathroom, was very nice and clean. The the bed was comfortable! And the breakfast was excellent with many choices. We look forward to returning! Note: There were some stairs to our first floor room, but that was not an issue as the staff happily took our luggage to our room.

It was a perfect spot as a base to explore Paris

Definitely great for a solo traveller, would be very cozy for a pair.

The location of this hotel is excellent, very close to the Seine River with unlimited number of restaurants and shops nearby, the de Lyon metro rail stop is very close. The hotel breakfast is an excellent option for the price, I advise most patrons to take advantage of it.

Advise to all travelers who may decide to take a stroll along the Seine pathways, you need to share these walkways with a host of cyclists who are often quite aggressive to the point of being rude (perhaps this is universal, here in the states and other countries). Also beware of scammers and pickpockets, I feel victim near the Louvre.
Overall, a very good hotel, Paris is easily worth a visit.

I loved the receptionists, all very kind and efficient. I also think that the breakfast was excellent and well worth it before a long day in Paris. The room and bathroom were very clean. A good value for the location near the train station and all the metros and trains.

Wow! Loved this hotel.
It is close to the train station to go just about anywhere. Stores, restaurants, the river. To me, i stayed on the 6th floor and very quiet, and comfortable.
The staff was fabulous, except the young lady in the restaurant down stairs. A little disappointed in her, I don’t speak French, just a little and I believe she was annoyed because she pretty much ignored me while she was very attentive to the other guests. I actually didn’t even bother to have breakfast the rest of the 2 days I was there, even though I paid for breakfast.
Otherwise this hotel is lovely.

Decent hotel if quite small room, slow elevator - but very well located and the air conditioning worked which was a huge plus. Friendly helpful staff.

It’s a nice hotel with friendly staff in a convenient area. I liked it very much. The only inconvenience was that the wifi didn’t work on upstairs. Also I’d love to have a kettle in the room, not just a coffee maker.

From check-in to out, the front desk staff was on its game with courteous efficiency. Having the complimentary chocolate cake, fruit, and mint water available in the lobby was super special too. We didn't buy the b'fast, but our friend said it was comprehensive and tasty.

The bathroom was smaller than on a ship's cabin, but served our needs. Water flowed well and got hot quickly.

Unfortunately the A/C (which worked great) dripped into our shower with a continuous plop plop sound--and the staff was willing to change our room, but we were only staying one night so we just put a towel down to dampen the sound.

Our room--206--fronted the hotel but heard NO street noise--lots of window panes! It's a five-min. walk from Gare de Lyon and the neighborhood felt nice with lots of cafes to eat in.

The room was super clean and roomy...bed/pillows not overly firm, making it all comfy.

Had a funky elevator system that stopped only at half floors...so we just walked our carry-on luggage up/down the curving staircase.

I'd stay there again.

This is a great hotel. The staff are friendly, the decor is cheery and the bathrooms very clean. Breakfast was very good and the location is close to Gare de Lyon.

Everything you would want in a small hotel. Extremely welcoming with an excellent room and great vibe. The breakfast was also great.

Friendly staff, great breakfast. But horribly small bathroom - had to sit at an angle on the toilet (we paid for the biggest room). Tight half flight of stairs up to elevator on every floor as elevator was retrofitted to building. Anyone with limited mobility could not stay here. Queen size bed was comfortable, room was clean & quiet, windows open to outside.
