Nice hotel for the budget price

This is a premium guest house in a excellent location overlooking the sea. They do have a few deficiencies but those can be overlooked as the overall package is good. The boss Mr Sudarshan is an excellent gentleman who assists with all that is possible.

The room given initially was large and adequate for the stay.
However the wash room requires immediate attention. Swearage smell was intolerable and my wife refused to use it.
It appears that the drainage is blocked. Myself as a professional engineer recommends that a professional plumber who could use a power assisted drive to push everything out.
It’s not uncommon to find this situation because sanitary pads are often placed by the users.

On the plus when I register the complain to the Manager next morning he reluctantly accepted my concern and gave us another room which is bigger than the earlier one.
But if I were to rate the bad odour for earlier given room is 8/10 then the new room is 5/10.

No matter how much chemicals used to suppress odour the root cause is the blocked drainage that needs immediate attention.

None of the amenities advertised our present. None. I am recovering from nerve damage so it’s quite difficult for me to walk. I chose this location because the description mentioned a restaurant onsite and wifi in the room. They offer neither. They don’t even have coffee and tea in the common area. They were clearly very happy to provide whatever service they were able to provide. Unfortunately the amenities that they advertise are not there. The hotel shares that the reasn for the lack of amenities is Covid. While I’m sure that that is the case, the description needs to be updated. When I appeal to hotels.com to refund me so I could rebook somewhere else they gave me a lot of resistance and just did not support me at all. If I was to have left it would’ve been a total loss of the money for the reservation. I’m disappointed in the hotel as well as hotels.com. I will say though the hotel has the absolute best view of the sea and seen in the whole city. It’s beautiful to see the sunrise and the sunset!

Sai Sea City Hotel is a thug. A thief. They charged full price for 10 nights, then sent a note that they are cancelling reservation due to over booking and will refund the amount. They never refunded any amount.
I booked elsewhere, once I received a note from Sai Sea City Hotel about the over-booking and the cancellation, but still got charged.

I had booked 4 rooms for my family of 8 with children and grandmother who is on wheelchair. Since we had booked on make my trip.... When we tried calling and sending email the hotel did not respond at all.
When we reached there rooms were on different floors... Dirty with mosquitoes and lights and geyser was not working.

Also the hotel is NOT wheelchair accessible.

We left for another hotel and lost all money as timelimit to refund was over and hotel was saying get money from make my trip and make my trip said we have paid to hotel.

Terrible experience with sai sea city and make my trip.

Better to go via a travel agent as they know their property well.

This hotel location is good and not worth for money value. Honestly saying, there were several disappointments. First the fake informations in the online booking sites. Do not believe the pictures online. Those a not true pictures. Real look is entirely different. Its stated as free parking in the booking sites. But, they will ask you to park in the roadside. There was not confirmation or any communication from the hotel after the booking. When we check in the communication of the front desk person was horrible. He could not confirm my booking even after I saw the booking confirmation mail or ID. He was confused and his communication was very rude. The rooms need to be repaired I think. Rusty dustbins and shedding leather chairs and bed make the room dirt. I think the management is not spending money for the maintenance of the hotel and not supervising the staff. The room boy and the security guard were pleasant and good in behaviour. Though the room was reasonable, the stay was disappointing because of the fake informations online and the initial communication of the front desk officer. Average stay.

Having stayed all over the world, this is the worst place I have ever stayed at.
The room is small, the headboard is crumbling, ants on the bedside table next to my head, the blind was filthy and covered in stains. Shouting, banging and sex noises all night. Building site view. When I rang reception to complain they hung up on me.
I waited until first light and immediately left.
Such a seedy place that should be shut down. I only gave it one star because I had to!

Facilities mentioned in booking not available in the room, TV wasn't working, room too small. I booked double bed room but they offered single bed. I am not satisfied with overall
