This is not your typical Residence Inn. The décor is so inviting and restful. There was artwork all over the resort. The cleanliness was the best I have ever seen in a Residence Inn. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also better than standard Residence Inn including Mimosas. What a great place to stay!!! They know how to do first class hospitality!
BRAVO Andell Inn. You were/are perfect. Everything from checkin through checkout was outstandingly done. I can't even give any suggestions for improvement.
Keep doing what your doing and we'll keep coming back!
Excellent accommodations
The property is clean, quiet and has a wrap around porch. Love the outdoor pool. It is very close to shopping.
Beautiful small bouquet hotel located at Kiawah Island. Nice but smallish heated pool. No restaurants on site to speak of but there are 3-4 good restaurants within 3 minutes walk that are great to good. Can’t tell this is a Marriott property from the signage which is actually a good thing. A great place to relax and enjoy the sea islands: Kiawah, Seabrook, John’s Island. I think you will be pleased.
Beautiful property and very comfortable stay
My husband had to be in Charleston for a meeting, so we decided to make a trip of it and come to Kiawah as it has been a destination we’ve wanted to visit for a while. It was important for us that the hotel was dog friendly as we had to travel with our Boston Terrier.
The location of the hotel is ideal and the hotel itself is beautiful. The price was expensive at over $500 per night, but we splurged because it was dog friendly.
However, we were disappointed to learn that although they’ve advertised themselves as dog friendly, only the hotel room is dog friendly. We were not allowed to bring our dog anywhere else on the property, so we missed out on getting to experience the hotel amenities, which was why we booked this hotel. We were told that dogs weren’t allowed on the beach shuttle, nor in the pool area, the lobby or patio.
I liked the service provided, very friendly and helpful
Great staff, location, lobby and live music.
Service and secure
Rooms was nice. Bed not too comfortable but ok. Shower was excellent. Staff was friendly
We were incredibly pleased with our stay at the Andell Inn. The service was impeccable, the room well-appointed and the location awesome. The little town is like a Hallmark movie at night! The staff truly embody what you would hope for in terms of southern hospitality. They were all so kind and accommodating. The morning breakfasts were lovely and the Porch bar was a great place to wind down the evening with a glass of wine and an alligator search. Great small gym onsite as well. Highly recommend this place - it even smells really amazing!
This is simply a phenomenal hotel. The pictures online do not do this property justice because it's a whole vibe. Yes, it is absolutely gorgeous from the furnishings, accessories, artwork, common areas. They are all amazingly comfortable and welcoming. However, it is the people working there that complete the "feel good" vibe. William, the district manager and Marissa, the general manager are very good at keeping the clientele happy, and the entire staff are wonderfully friendly and cheerful. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you stay memorable. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to be back soon!
When you travel a lot you just know…you walk through those double doors and are transported into a stunning and serene setting. Your check in is flawless and your beautiful and ultra comfy room with a private balcony overlooking the pool sets the scene for the ultimate in relaxation. Everything is spotless and ready.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, the breakfast is like none other at a hotel chain! Every member of staff your encounter are beyond friendly and professional. They are all going beyond their job!
Step across the street to Freshfields Village where the Harris Teeter and restaurants have just what you need.
All you have to do is relax, take a drive to the beach or go for a walk or bike ride. Enjoy your stay - you will wish you were staying longer!
Very expensive for hotel ammenities
Stylish and nice property a short walk from shops and restaurants at Freshfields Village. Room and hotel was clean and nice but my room had some signs of wear and tear. I was not there long, less than 24 hours, but came away impressed and would return. Super cool photos throughout the property.
Lovely property in a special place
We were generally impressed with the Andell Inn, especially being a Residence Inn. The service was very good, the location really good and the accommodations excellent, but we stayed in the Presidential Suite. Remember: Anniversary... :)
We had a very nice time, we'd stay again next time in Charleston!
This is our second visit and we love this place. It is located in a cute little village with great restaurants and shops, all within walking distance.
