Pros:

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my daughter got a bout of Delhi belly and they were superb, arranged for a doctor to visit and asked how she was whenever we went down to reception.

Cons:

We accidentally left some clothes in the room and requested your team to courier them to Ernakulam before we left the country. Despite repeated phone calls and reminders, the clothes were not sent in time and we had to leave without receiving them. This was very disappointing.

Inconsistent experience at this Ramada
Pros:

The swimming pool and most of the staff were standouts.

Cons:

Quite a mixed bag. We had stayed here before the weekend and had a good experience. An upgrade and high standards of service. We were surprised at the low mark out of 10 overall (around 7.5)
But our second visit after the weekend was a real disappointment. We were given a dismal room despite paying considerably more.
Our room stank of damp, drawers and cupboards wouldn’t close, lights wouldn’t go out and failing WiFi. When we tried to highlight these problems., we had to go down to the reception because, despite promises, there was no response.
The initial response was to try and cover the damp smell with a spray(!) and set up boosters on the wifi.
We entered into a discussion with the manageress who promised to come and talk to us but then failed to turn up, nor even seek us out the next day. (Really poor leadership).
Eventually we were given a much better room where things actually worked. But we should never have been given such a shabby room with so many things sub-standard. And we were disappointed at the slow method of dealing with the issues.
Having stayed at the Ramadas in Amritsar and Chandigarh, this was a very disappointing experience.

A memorable and relaxing stay with excellent hospitality and great food.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Ramada Resort Alleppey! A special thanks to Unni Maya for her excellent support and hospitality throughout our visit. She truly made our experience even more pleasant.

The boating experience was incredibly relaxing — we were told it would be 2 hours, but we actually got to enjoy it for 5 hours, which was such a pleasant surprise! It was something we’ve never experienced before by backwaters of Alleppey Punnamada lake, Kuttanad and Vembanadu lake. A huge thanks to Ramada’s lovely team.

The food was absolutely yummy, both on the boat and through room service. The room service was amazing — very prompt and attentive. The view from our room was simply fantabulous with backwaters and added so much to the overall experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The food service on the boat was absolutely awesome. My sincere apologies as I forgot the name of the wonderful and lovely girl who supported us in the catering area on 14th Dec 2025 afternoon session but she truly deserves special appreciation. Many thanks for her great support and warm hospitality!

However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The mattress was not very comfortable and the bathroom experienced a clogging issue. While maintenance and overall upkeep could be better, we truly appreciate that the technician attended to the problem promptly when we informed the staff.

Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Rooms very clean and comfortable

Cons:

Bar ran out pretty much everything we asked for. Staff in bar area not at all attentive and did not seem as though they had enough training to work in a bar. It was not busy and they paid no attention to the customers, more happy to chat amongst each other.

Pros:

Unfortunately, the hotel fell short of my expectations. The location was good, but everything else needs improvement

Cons:

Apart from the good location, the experience was disappointing. The cleanliness was below expected standards, the breakfast and food choices were limited, the hotel felt very crowded, and the facilities are clearly outdated. Overall, it fell short of what I expected.

Pros:

We got an upgrade to an enormous room which was most welcome. The location on the backwaters was great. The complimentary boat trip was also very welcome. Breakfast was good, the bar was lovely, dinner was fine. Would happily stay again should we be back this way. Staff are great, it was very clean, the bed was gigantic and comfy. Suspect those one start reviews are fake???

Cons:

No umbrella/ sunshade around the pool so zero shade which meat we didn't use it.
