Overpriced, complete ripoff
Pros:

Overpriced, tiny shabby room, below average and expensive food, no decaf tea or coffee, no tcmf in the room, deadpan staff who were only interested in you booking breakfast!

Really expensive for what you get!
Cons:

No tea or coffee provided in the room and compared to similar hotels it was about double the price for a room, without a doubly enjoyable stay. We were expecting something special for £150

Newly Decorated Very Quiet and Comfortable
Pros:

Very nice owners. Wonderful room in back of hotel
Quiet.beds comfy. Beautifully decorated. spar grocery 5 min walk. Good storage shed for 2 bikes. Very comfortable and clean.

Good basic hotel, helpful staff.
Pros:

I made an error in booking accommodation in Lochinver. We were desperate to find somewhere for the night. We searched all round Lochinver with no success. We were booked into the Lairg Highland Hotel for the following night, and rang them to see if could stay with them. The receptionist was very helpful, and agreed to ket us have a triple room. It took 1 hours 15 minutes to get through deserted Highland roads, and arrived just in time.

A short, nice stay visit. Good hotel, very nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms.
Pros:

The area and room - it was nice, cozy and clean. Nothing really to be upset about.

Cons:

The staff was very nice, however it is sad that they dont have enough cover now and cannot fully operate.

Excellent stop
Pros:

Annette said they had limited food because the bad weather (snow++) meant their deliveries had not arrived. But they still had a good range and it was well presented, well cooked and good value. Restaurant would be a bit too well lit and quiet for some but it suited me very well. Room clean and adequate size (single).
