A very nice business hotel at a very good location in the business part of Bucharest - right across the street with Euro Tower.
Breakfast is good - not super variable but fresh and tasty.
A bottle of water with a personalised note was expecting me at the room.
You also get a voucher for 10%discount for a very tasty restaurant for ribs lovers in front of the hotel.
All in all definitely a good place to stay.
The DBH Romania is a beautiful hotel. It is very nice and quaint. The restroom was spacious with a large shower. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed our stay very much!
We were given a small room, more apropiate for a single room space than for a double room. Also, the bathroom was small. We appreciated the fact that it was clean. But, the receptionist’s atitudine was horrible, she had no communication skills and she almost yelled when she was asked for some information. She didn’t know how to answer or how she should discuss with a customer. Very disappointed!!!!
Very cozy and sweet hotel. Perfect for business, as even the breakfast time was arranged perfectly for working hours. The room was clean and nice, only the windows were very, very small on the 3rd floor and had no view. The staff were always very helpfull and smiling.
What a lovely little hotel. Very close to Eurotower and some great restaurants.
Not in the city centre but public transport and taxis mean this shouldn’t be a problem.
About 40 minutes in a taxi from the airport, around a RON 40 fare.
Room was spacious with plenty of storage space.
Bathroom was clean and quite large.
Bed was comfortable with enough pillows.
Air conditioning and free Wi-fi.
Breakfast was mainly continental, but with cooked eggs and sausage too (I preferred the croissants). Oh, and chocolate biscuits too which is perhaps odd but who doesn’t like them?
Staff friendly and helpful, and had umbrellas available to borrow from reception which was useful as we had thunderstorms during our stay.
Pleasant stay. The rooms in the back are very quiet. Good service for a boutique hotel, very helpful staff. Breakfast is basic, but ok. Relatively good location, close to the center but also to the north.
Excellent Boutique hotel with outstanding service !
Staff is eager to help anywhere they can. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and bathroom is well equipped. Located in a nice area (allthough it is not near the old town)
A good hotel, a bit noisy but to be expected on a main road in Bucharest. Comfy bed. Room was a little too warm and tried but couldn’t get the temperature down. The bathroom though was cold
Chose this hotel as it was close to where I had to be the next morning so great position.
Didn’t like that the tiles in the shower were cracked.
I slept in a very small room and the room was just a little bit bigger than the bad. The worst thing was that the bad was positioned as that I must sleep with the head below the window and I felt the cold air from the window even if the window was closed.
I didn't liked the breakfast but I don't have any bad word to say about the personnel. Just for this reason the hotel received two stars from my side.
Great Service oriented staff, relaxing atmosphere, good location, outstanding breakfast, smaller but well equipped rooms. Only downside is for those who cannot climb stairs is that there are no elevators
A friend indicated this place when I was looking for a room in Bucharest.
This is a very nice, clean, small hotel. Cozy and large rooms with a beautiful decor and very confortable bed. The bathroom is basic but clean with plenty of hot water.
Friendly staff, ready to answer requests willing to help.
Breakfast is available and served in a large dining room.
The Decebal Boutique is located approx. 3 km from the very centre of the town; public transportation and taxis are available for reaching the main attractions of Bucharest.
If I will be again in Bucharest I will return in this Hotel and I can recommend it to my friends.
I arrived at the hotel ready for a shower except there was no hot water. When I brought this up to the front desk, I was informed I need to let it run a bit first. After 15 minutes of running the water, I proceeded to take a cold shower and went on with my business in Bucharest.
We chose the Decebal after cancelling a more expensive alternative. The pictures and reviews of the Decebal swung it.
The staff at the hotel really can't do enough for you. In particular we wish to thank Andreea, who, with another colleague, helped us to book train tickets through the train company's somewhat opaque web site. And Mr Ion for his supply of coffee for my partner's middle of the night cigarette jaunts to the small courtyard.
The hotel has a welcoming feel. The decor is first class and the rooms spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was superb. The hotel is on a busy road but with quality double (possibly triple) glazing you wouldn't know it.
The breakfast options are very good: as well as the usual buffet fare there's a menu of cooked alternatives. Great coffee!
Location is fine. You could walk to the old town but even at a brisk pace you're looking at about twenty-five minutes or so. There's a subway station nearby. Taxis are very cheap but ask the approximate cost of your journey in advance to avoid being taken advantage of. There are several good restaurants nearby, though.
No real negative points. The air con in our room could have been colder, I suppose. And remember there's no lift - ask for a lower floor of you find stairs difficult.
I would unreservedly recommend the Decebal. We were also pleasantly surprised by Bucharest; a big city but with a more intimate feel to its old town.
We're planning a return trip and the Decebal is likely to be where we hang out hats once again.
Had a great stay at the hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a perfect location with parking. Air conditioning could have been better but that is irrelevant. Would happily stay here again
We left Decebal Boutique Hotel satisfied. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. What made the difference through was the service. The stuff was friendly and very helpful. They went the extra mile helping us with everything we needed, making our stay in Bucharest much more enjoyable and easy. Highly recommended.
Wonderful stay will definitely come back. Staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were very clean, super comfortable beds and lovely decoration. Reception was always very keen to help, offering to order cabs and food for us
The first thing I would like to mention is about the staff. Simply amazing... all of them, no exceptions! Either early in the morning, or late in the evening, they receive you always with a smile... Being a small hotel, makes things easier and pleasant. You feel you're back home, since everyone knows you.
Regarding cleanliness, everything is perfect, from the room to the common areas, everything is shinning...
I stayed in this hotel countless times now and I had never a bad experience or issue... for everything I remark, they try to fix the best way possible, without interfering in my schedule.
The rooms are nice, not very spacious, but clean and with a good decoration.
Although not being a big deal (at least for me), the hotel doesn't have elevator, so if you carry a big luggage, be prepared to carry it up the stairs, however, the staff, will definitely help you in case of need.
I will definitely return since I feel comfortable there... meanwhile, I would like to thank Andreea, Irina and Claudia in particular and all the staff in general for making all my stays pleasant.
The hotel is very centric, and I even walked from the train station, as it is not too far. The best feature is the friendly staff, which made me feel at home. The room is very comfortable with a nice TV and a large bed. The room included breakfast, which I could not use for lack of time, but it was a nice addition. Lastly, the WiFi connection worked well, and overall I really enjoyed my stay.
Good sized rooms, well equipped, and stuff is really friendly and helpful. Good recommendations from girls at the reception on nearby restaurants. Been there several times and would recommend it definitely.
staff was very friendly, thank you for everything :) the room was big, very clean and nice decorated, breackfast was tasty and varied, good location, parcking place, good value for price, everything was nice
