Pros:

A very nice apartment furnished to a high standard. Easy walking to the shopping/hospitality precinct and beach yet benefitting from being in a very quiet location. The building complex is well maintained with suitable onsite parking.

Very enjoyable stay, made even better by hosts Amanda and Peter
Pros:

Great location. Walking distance to beach, town and wharf.
Amanda and Peter were the perfect hosts. Nothing was a problem for them. Booked tours for us and had plenty of good advice for things to see and do.

Accommodation really helped round off a very nice holiday.
Pros:

Lovely, peaceful setting (except for nature's alarm clock - a flock of cockatoos), walking distance to the main street but set far enough back to feel removed. Nice neutral decor and clean, comforable unit with all amenities needed. Sweet little cool off pool. Lovely hosts.

Cons:

No complaints.

Good location for a stay in Port Douglas.
Pros:

Very convenient location to walk downtown, to the beach, walking trail, and marina. There was a pool for the kids, laundry in the unit, and a patio. Helpful orientation to the town by hosts upon arrival.

Cons:

I expected to have more than one full roll of toilet paper included in the price of a four night stay for five people. We stayed in ten other accommodations during our Australian vacation. Two or three full rolls have been standard at all other accommodations regardless of length of stay. Yes, this is a small annoyance. Otherwise, I think the apartment was a fine value.

Easy, accessible and clean holiday apartment.
Pros:

Location, very close to the main strip where lots of restaurants are. You can also stroll to the wharf to go on tours etc.
The hosts were fabulous and very friendly. Happy to give travel tips to see the local sights and attractions.

Lovely apartments. Good location. Slightly challenging departure expectations however.

The property itself was very well equipped and very well maintained. It had a great location in Port Douglas.

Cons:

As nice as the property was our stay was soured somewhat by an incident that took place after our check-out. We mistakenly forgot that the house rules were that all crockery and kitchen where needed to be washed cleaned dry and returned to the cupboards check out. The hosts pointed this out after we had checked out and my wife rushed back to ensure we complied retrospectively. The mood of the Lady host however had gone from extremely lovely to obviously annoyed. The change was stark and very obvious to my wife when she returned to the apartment. We concluded that whilst the couple who managed the Apartments were very welcoming, very competent, very nice they do run the Apartments to an exact standard and when a guest fell short of that standard it seemed that the lady in particular was extremely uncomfortable. The couple run the Apartments and do all the cleaning themselves so I can understand that they want to minimise the time that they need to spend cleaning Apartments between guests, I would recommend that they reconsider how much stress they are putting their guests under by having to have all breakfast wear washed dried and returned to cupboards before a 10 am departure time. We stay in many apartments every year in different locations around the world and the vast majority insist that crockery is washed for hygiene purposes. If guests are expected to get up breakfast dishwasher crockery and then return the crockery afterwards to its rightful place perhaps an 11 o’clock checkout is more realistic. Check-in I believe is 3 pm so this would still give four hours for cleaning but given the contribution of guests and the fact it is a relatively small establishment, I do wonder if that is achievable.

Fabulous apartment in fabulous location
Pros:

Amanda and Peter were absolutely incredible! Such a beautiful couple who went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Nothing wa too much trouble and we were able to book everything with them to make our stay so easy and relaxed.
The location of the apartments is fantastic with only a short walk to the main area of Port Douglas and also to the Marina. The apartment itself was light and bright and so well equipped with everything we needed for a home away from home holiday.
We will definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone!

Exceptional stay.

Excellent stay in Port Douglas
Pros:

Very comfortable apartment, with pretty much all you need for a home-type stay. Very friendly, courteous owners/management. Easy walking distance to main street with restaurants.
