Threadbare unclean carpets in public areas, dirty carpet in bedroom, ruined stains down front of toilet in room bathroom, huge step into/out of shower cubicle, unclean shower cubicle, unclean sink. Decent layer of dust over furniture.

A lovely hotel where nothing is to much trouble
Pros:

A lovely old building that is well maintained and kept really clean. There is a large car park at the rear of the building, would definitely recommend this hotel

Mary was a great help and the service was second to none
Pros:

Got there early but the staff were great and we got checked in at 10.30 straight away.
Mary was a great help with everything.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious with constant assistance of more offerings with breakfast.
This hotel is a ideal location for Uttoxeter races

Definitely needs a good update on everything. Bed was bad so not much sleep, room was cramped. Bathroom & shower not very good
