Toller Urlaub in sehr schönen Villen, aber kein echtes 5-Sterne-Niveau

Wir waren eine Woche in den Niramaya Villas and Spa und haben den Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr genossen. Die Anlage ist wunderschön gepflegt und sehr ruhig gelegen, die Villen sind grosszügig, privat und ideal zum Entspannen.

Cons:

Negativ aufgefallen ist, dass das Personal teilweise besser geschult sein könnte. Insgesamt entsprach der Service nicht ganz dem erwarteten 5-Sterne-Standard. Zudem liegt die Unterkunft etwas ausserhalb von Port Douglas, wodurch man für Ausflüge in den Ort jeweils etwas Zeit einplanen muss.

Very very comfortable!
Pros:

The villa, sensational, the gardens!

Cons:

The spa was ok but it needs some love, it doesn’t feel luxurious. The restaurant and bar is poor. Service isn’t great, does not feel high end. It’s just very average. There’s a disconnect between what you pay to stay there and the standard of the accommodation and hotel staff, and then the rest of it, feels like it’s all run individually.

Stunning holiday destination!
Pros:

Amazing resort with wonderful staff and so relaxing - best holiday ever!
Used the tennis court, the main pool as well as our private pool - lovely!

Cons:

A large group in the main pool were annoying and loud, but that’s the luck of the draw!

Bali vibe and insta worthy 🏝️

I love the Bali vibe of this place! It was extremely peaceful

Cons:

The beds where a but worn in the one we had was not comfy and caused me some lower back pain but that would be the ONLY thing.

Our villa and garden was beautiful and well appointed. The pool was perfect. We had a very enjoyable stay and would love to return some day.

Beautiful balinese style villa experience but at a price
Pros:

The balinese style villa was beautiful and felt very private within the gated complex and lush tropical setting. The bed was comfortable and everything felt spacious.

Cons:

There were some signs of wear and tear and a few indications that cleaning and maintenance could be improved. Considering the price, everything should be immaculate and in good working order.

Truly a 10/10 resort experience. The resort itself is magnificent from the showers, to the private pool, to the indoor/outdoor fountains and flowers around your villa. The beds in the villas were extremely comfortable, the closets and amenities were very large, and the showers were extremely comfortable. We spent the majority of our time in the Villa just because of how magnificent it was. I would recommend anyone staying in Port Douglas to stay here, its the nicest resort I stayed in in my life and I was able to stay for $100 USD per night split across 5 people.

Cons:

Far from Port Douglas and the shuttle option to the city is extremely expensive for a 7 minute drive. Make sure you have a rental car and you'll be fine!
