Personal war nicht besonders freundlich, Doppelbett sehr klein und nur eine Decke, Frühstück etwas lieblos, Angebot überschaubar vorallem für Vegatarier und Raum ungemütlich, kein Lift vorhanden

Pretty scenery but unless you like hiking there is not a lot to do.

It was very tatty with torn furniture, worn carpets and could do with being updated.

Bon hôtel fonctionnel et bien situé.
Pros:

La situation de l'hôtel est excellente avec la vue depuis le jardin et le restaurant sur la mer vraiment magnifique. Le hall de l'hôtel est aussi très beau. Les chambres sont plutôt petites, simples mais fonctionnelles. Pour une nuit passée avant de prendre le ferry pour les small isles, l'hôtel est idéal.

Cons:

Dès qu'on monte à l'étage, atteint les couloirs et les chambres, il y a une certaine déception entre la qualité et ce qu'on voit du hall et du jardin.

Good location , we use the ferry to go to Uist.
Pros:

Great Location.

Cons:

The room had very sloping ceilings.
It was the dearest property on our travels without breakfast, and the smallest room.

Nice place
Pros:

Loved the set up in the downstairs lounge. Loads of old furniture set up in little snugs for people to relax and chat.
Fan in the room giving guests the option to use if needed.
Dinner beautiful. Grilled haddock. Perfect.
Waiting staff all very young, they were smiley and worked really hard. The restaurant was very warm due to heatwave and they were serving a full house most of the evening by the look of things. Excellent.
Quirky historical stuff around to look at in the longe. Cool little library.

Cons:

Breakfast horribly bland. The two waiting staff were miserable and sat around. Had to wait ages for scrambled eggs which appeared with a chef wearing tracksuit bottoms, should he have been in full uniform?
Steps leading up to the hotel had some flagstones very loose. And grass had not been cut.
