Pros:

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel dopo aver visitato l’isola di Skye, arrivati in auto alla sera con traghetto Armadale-Mallaig, l’hotel si trova appena fuori dal porto. Ideale per tappa prima di percorrere la meravigliosa strada che da Mallaig porta a Fort William. Camere piccole ma confortevoli. Comoda la possibilità di cenare in albergo; colazione a buffet molto ricca.

Cons:

Hotel un pò datato e senza ascensore. A colazione mancavano prodotti dolci tipo croissant o torte.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and great views.

Cons:

We arrived by train and although the station is nearby, it was very difficult to drag our luggage up the hill and stairs.

It was clean & a good location

Cons:

The rooms were incredibly hot. Not helped by the fact the towel rails were on full blast despite it being so hot outside. Walls were very thin. Felt very dated

A pleasant, good value hotel in a beautiful location. I would stay again.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and well maintained and was in an excellent location for my trip. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was good.

Der Ausblick aufs Meer
Die Lobby Bereich mit schöner Bar

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war im Dachgeschoss und nur über einen verwinkelten Gang erreichbar. Der Ausblick war traumhaft schön, allerdings waren beide Fenster voller Vogelschisse, ein Fenster konnte nicht zu öffnen (abgeklebt), da die Öffnung defekt war. Nach unserer Beschwerde wurden die Fenster jedenfalls notdürftig gereinigt.
Das Essen und auch der Service waren miserabel.

Nice hotel in a fabulous location
Pros:

Great hotel in an enviable location, above the town of Mallaig and looking over the sound of Skye. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were lovely, if a little inexperienced (i.e., young) at times.

Cons:

We did have a meal and, while not expensive, it was a bit on the unimaginative side. I had a Caesar salad, which was basically a load of cos lettuce leaves uncut, half a pound of cold chicken and croutons smothered in what felt like bought Caesar dressing (although I could be wrong about that).

Pros:

非常方便，离码头很近，酒店房间大，卫生间也大，服务员都很好，酒店的早餐品种不多，但品质很好，单独付款，晚餐餐厅景观非常棒。推荐。

Nice wee hotel just needs a tweak or two
Pros:

Our room was fantastic a great sea view.
The ambience was very relaxed and the atmosphere homely.
The bed was comfortable

Cons:

we couldn't get the room blacked out fully at night.
Breakfast was a disappointment at the price point.

It wasn't clear what was on offer if there was an item not in the buffet
we were asked to find a seat and then left up to ourselves whilst we could see what there was, much like any other buffet, although there was a reasonable choice the quality could have been better - eg the scrambled(?) egg was one item that could have been much better presented

Yes, we could have asked a waiter for other things fair enough, but a polite 'heads up' on the welcome was absent in comparison with other hotels performance at a lower price point.
