If they fix the mechanical noise, this would be a fantastic place to stay.
Pros:

Great value for the money with absolutely wonderful, friendly staff. I stayed in the economy room (no exterior windows, which I knew beforehand and didn't mind).

Cons:

The only downside was the noise; both the air conditioning and the bathroom's ventilation system were uncomfortably loud.

Pros:

We were in Istanbul for a few hours (long flight delay), we stayed in Rumours inn to be able to visit the main landmarks by foot, and we did.
* Great location, most landmarks are walking distance
* Great rooftop with a view
* Comfortable rooms (although on the small side)
* Nice balcony with sea view
* Helpful staff

Over all it was a very pleasant stay and a nice atmosphere
Pros:

Everything was superb, staff are polite, they had a good selection for breakfast as well but we didnt like most of it as it was full Turkish breakfast
