Breakfast was ok, as expected.
No tv in room, restricted to Audio only.
Location, breakfast
No proper shower in our room
Old , beautifully kept, clean and excellent breakfast
Everything
Location, but no atmosphere
Breakfast over cooked poor if I am honest and should of sent it back
The staff were very friendly & helpful.
The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen clean and fresh.
The breakfasts were excellent with a good choice of local produce.
Unfortunately the bedroom was not clean. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the bedside tables needed wiping before we could use them and the carpet needed hoovering.
The bathroom had more cobwebs, the hot tap was lose in its socket so turned, and leaked, each time it was used. The glass shelf beside the basin, was at an angle, that caused items to slide off the shelf.
Loved the location staff were lovely
I was not impressed with the decor thought the who place needed up dating as the rooms and corridors looked very old and need refreshed
We had dinner here the evening we arrived and it was very good. Location was very good for us as was on the Northumberland Coast Path right near the castle
Nothing, I can remember.
Great location for visiting the surrounding area.
Nothing
Good location and nice views from the rooms. Breakfast included and made to order. Shower ensuite with included toiletries. Clean bedding. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The meal in the pub was outstanding.
WiFi wasn't great and neither was the TV reception. Bathrooms could have been cleaner - there was a noticeable crack in the sink of room 8, and mould around both shower doors. The mattresses were too firm. The carpark is on an incline which I imagine is difficult to drive out of in the winter.
The food was good. Good breakfast and we had dinner in the restaurant which was also very good.
The room was satisfactory, bed was clean, furnishings a little dated, bathroom was adequate, we stayed in room 11.
Check in was good, he was friendly and welcoming.
The young waitress we had for dinner was excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Good location for exploring Warkworth Castle and the Hermitage.
The entrance to the hotel (front door and reception area) is scruffy, tired and very unappealing.
The other member of staff (serving breakfast) wasn't very friendly or welcoming, a bit curt. Didn't give the best customer experience.
Great location to stay for me doing Trek26 Northumberland
Breakfast was very good.
The bed mattress needs a "birthday" in the near future
Location
Out of date and tired
Great location and nice staff but we were kept awake by a party in the next door room.
The noise and rubbish WiFi - none in the room at all and rest very sporadic.
Good location in a beautiful neighbourhood, historic one. We travelled by bike and it was a nice stop. The breakfast was quite good too.
The bed (single) was not very comfortable. It was okay for one night, but not more.
Breakfast was fine for our purposes. Comfortable broom. It served its purpose as a bolt hole on the Northumberland Coast path.
Nothing really for our purposes!
