our room had a great view of the boats. Went up to the bar on the balcony which had a great view of the sunset. The room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Great location for what we needed.

High pricing
I recently visited charleston and stayed here. The rooms were nice and clean. The day of our departure we had breakfast in the restaurant our server Kim was amazing she was so personable and attentive even though she was very busy. The food was very good I had an omelet and my wife had a waffle both were exactly. I asked Kim who cooked my omelet and she said Terell the cook that was one of the best omelet I've had in a long time. There was also a gentleman named Patrick he was also very nice. Over all our experience here was wonderful we will be back.
Used the hilton app to reserve the room. At checkin the clerk said the room i selected wasnt available. The room he gave me was not good. The mattress was hard and the room was hot. The ac was not good and was loud. The shower was one of the best. I would not recommend. Wont be staying here anymore.
The location is a bit outside downtown, along the waterfront, but you can definitely walk to everything. The staff was great, particularly Kim in the restaurant, very friendly and helpful every day. Room was clean and comfortable.
Had a medical problem and couldn't come. Wanted to apply my deposit to Marchand wouldn't even consider it.
The staff did not address my problem beforehand and dismissed me and Elizabeth hung up on me.

When booking with Booking.com the hotels always give me the shittiest room available and it does not count toward my rewards with that hotel chain.
My visit to Charleston was cut short by snow, but I would definitely stay at this hotel again. HGI isn't usually my brand of choice, but this one was close to the event I was attending. Everything was clean and comfortable and there's a nice bar in the lobby. It looks either fairly new or recently renovated. The view of the marina is nice. The staff were friendly. I didn't receive an honors upgrade, but I won't hold that against them.
The location is convenient. The room was clean.
Booked the room with breakfast. The staff didn't believe me. Had to pay for my breakfast again. Miserable situation when you have to complain about $20, and the staff is not supportive. Sent a message in booking and never got a response. Don't book through booking, use the Hilton website.
