Absolute Class. Culinary gem. Welcoming and charming.
Pros:

The location was beautiful with views to the mountains. Immediately the housekeeper’s welcome was warm and friendly. A little prosecco on arrival just sweet. All the staff were so happy and friendly and had a great sense of humour which we loved! I asked Nicole if we had to pay extra for her entertainment! She was attentive and super fun. We had a delicious meal. The food really is first rate here and we sent compliments to the chef. Our breakfast servers were also excellent and happy to have a chat and a joke. Delightful young people. We could not have been made to feel more at home. This place is charming, elegant and homely. We will definitely come here again and would make a detour to do so. The little chocolate truffles in the room were a nice surprise. Housekeeping is great. Spotlessly clean. Keep doing what you are doing. The best place we have stayed in our entire trip! ♥️

Class Place with old world charm and a new beautiful bar area and relaxation lounge. Book it!
Pros:

This hotel is pure class. From arrival the staff were very welcoming and absolutely delightful. We had a fabulous stay. The food was excellent. Service impeccable. Bed extremely comfortable and lovely and quiet. Lovely to have a large jaccuzi bath in addition to the shower.

A well run Inn with a lovely ambience.
Pros:

Stayed for two nights in May in Mt Adams room. Good size, well fitted and large bathroom. Facilities include a well stocked bar and lounge, breakfast and dinner in the dining room or on the porch afternoon tea abd cookies, and free car parking.

The Inn has a lovely ambience and friendly staff. A warm welcome at reception with a glass of Prosecco from Innkeeper Nancy.

Well placed for all local attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favourite hotel of the trip. If we lived closer we would very regular guests!

Fabulous hotel, great value, super food, lovely breakfast, super friendly staff, wonderful location.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and really helpful, the food was excellent, breakfast was great. Our room was really comfy and ideal for couples. Location brilliant. Quote of the stay from Amy - when I asked if we might see bears she said probably not as they are just waking up but I wouldn't leave food in your car!". The hotel was the best I've stayed in in the US and I've travelled a lot on work trips there. This one was a holiday with my son and he loved it too. I'll be back, with my wife time.

Cons:

Only that the bears were not awake. The hotel was pretty much faultless.

A true sense of relaxation & peace

First and foremost- the staff is more helpful, accommodating, friendly, and caring than we could’ve ever asked for. They all went above and beyond at every turn. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was amazing every day! We can’t wait to go back! Thank you Inn at Thorn Hill!

A great two night experience
Pros:

Another great visit to Thorn Hill . From check in to departure everything was top notch . The entire staff was exceptionally warm and friendly and made a point to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable . Nancy and Sherry , Pam , Dave , Nicklaus , Bella, Amy , James , Nicole , Rene , ( hope I didn’t miss anyone ) all contributed to a great two night stay . The atmosphere the food the drinks , and the comfortable rooms resulted in another great memory . Thank you all , see you again soon .

My Happy Place
Pros:

The Inn at Thorn Hill is my happy place. I have stayed there several times, and I now know that whatever stress I have at the time will be disappearing as I drive up the road and see the wonderful wrap around parch. Thank you to Nancy and Amy for such a pleasant welcome as I check in. Where else are you offered a glass of prosecco or sparkling water during that process? Thank you to Sherri as director of Food, Beverage, and Housekeeping for making all those areas ready for the guests to enjoy. Even if it is a cold or rainy day that may keep one inside rather than on the porch, the lounge and the library have a back to back fireplace to keep you feeling warm as you enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to James the bartender for his friendliness and knowledge. It seems he is always experimenting and inventing a great new cocktail. Thank you to the servers in the restaurant, Forty at Thorn Hill. Nicole, Niklaus, Dave, and Pam made sure guests feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you to Rene the chef for making the plates look so appealing and the food taste so good. Every guest room at The Inn is different and special, making each time I stay there a different experience. At this time I have not met any of the housekeeping staff as they seem to be invisible, but I can see every time I am there that they are doing top-notch work as everything is very clean and nicely presented. Shouldn't we all have a happy spot where we can relax and just be pampered? It's here at The Inn at Thorn Hill.
