Do not book this hotel
Pros:

Dont waste your hard earned money on this hotel we stayed as a family of 4 adults and 2 children room on same floor but different ends stayed 28th July to 4th august right where do I start staff not very friendly found some rude have to pay for internet €15 per room it doesn’t work or connect loads of people complaining was told just to keep trying till you check out to be told no refund had to pay for tv remote and air conditioning (not sure how much)also the parasols round the pool €2 a day saw 1 entertainment staff round pool with a dart board and darts in the full week we was there no entertainment at night just a singer in the background nothing for kids no clubs or mini disco etc
Food at breakfast was not bad lunch and evening meal was absolutely disgusting same thing over again 1night it was all different fish and pork ribs in sauce the only meat on we ended up eating out 4 times for evening meal never had to do this before being A L tried the snack bar in pool area who do burgers hot dogs and ham/cheese toasties 1day the burgers and hotdogs were not cooked properly and the toasties were like warm bread never saw a jet 2 rep all the time we were there be very careful if you have little ones in kids pool as we found 2 loose tiles which was sharp handed in to lifeguard who just put them on the table he was using we had floor tiles in both rooms loose and a broken chair in room went to reception to tell them about broken chair said it would be sorted out the chair was still in the room when we checked out still broken.
Disgusting hotel never again

Disgrase
Pros:

Bad when you're writing a review on the coach leaving such a dive!! I think 1 star is too much for this hotel!! As a family who have always done all inclusive this hotel has put me right off! The food is the same every day nothing changes, some meats aren't cooked correctly which was worrying as we had children with us, paid for WIFI which never worked I told the receptionist on a number of times and was told they would sort it, on leaving the resort I told them to which I was told we can't refund you now as you are leaving! I wasn't the only family on this day complaining either, you have to pay for umbrella & mattress for sun lounges which is ridiculous, Aircon and Tv remotes have to be paid for! entertainment well that's the wrong word as it is just a singer in the background. There is nothing on for the family throughout the day, we had to go out most days and nights to find our own entertainment and food which is just not what you want when you pay for all inclusive. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone it was CR*P. If hotel wish to contact me my room number was 507 stayed 28/07-04/08

More Dino needed
Pros:

Great location short walk to the beach and some nice bars
Lacking atmosphere, staff friendly could be bit livelier
Dino is great with morning activities has made the holiday
Room ok spacious and clean but needs little work as sockets loose and lights affected when you plug in travel plug
Value for money have had better but it is what ya make it
Food not the best and not great selection
No issue with noise basic night entertainment that finishes by 11pm then just background music till 12 in main bar
Have to pay for drinks in bar from 11pm
Overall could be better

Great holiday, lovely staff.
Pros:

Just back from here, and it was a great two weeks. The measures the bar staff pour are “hospital” material, mind you. A few days lost as a result! Food was ok, what you’d expect from a 3*. They absolutely love fish & pork though, it’s on EVERY day. Staff were lovely, attentive too. Only drawback with the pool bar is that they provide you paper cups. Not very appealing, drinking out of them, so but your own plastic ones from one of the shops across the road.

Pros:

We arrived early at the hotel to be greeted by a lovely polite receptionist our room wasn’t ready until 3pm she gave us our all inclusive wristbands to use straight away. once we got in our room which was on the 7th floor very clean plenty of room.
Found two faults which got sorted in no time.
Food plenty of choice for each meal.
Pool bar and snacks good choice
Pools are lovely.
Hotel staff are so friendly.
Great location.
I would recommend this hotel especially if you are with a family it’s great

Its not that bad to be honest, give it a go!
Pros:

Location is ideal for bars, restaurants, shopping mall and a 10 min walk to port of colon harbour and fanabe beach. You are right on the main road, so easy access for bus and taxis but can be busy. Hotel, try and request floors 4 and above and 2 and 3 are underneath the pool with some rooms having a view of a wall and it is apparently dark. Rooms are basic and you have to pay for A/C, a tv remote control and a kettle. There was a kitchen in our 1 bedroom apartment. It was big enough. We had to move the sofa bed near kitchen as its tight getting to the balcony between sofa bed and tv/tv unit. I didn't mind the food to be honest, but not a huge selection. The snack bar is only opened 10 till 1 and 4.30 till 6. I think the snack bar needs to be open all afternoon as some like myself dont like having lunch inside. Especially after swimming etc. Just wanna chill by the pool. You have to pay for a parasol at €2 a day from reception which is stupid. The sun is at the pool area all day. Staff seem laid back, no issues. They do entertainment every night. Drinks are very selective for all inclusive and icecreams. I found the Drinks are very watered down. I brought my own flasks and they had no issues filling them up for whatever I wanted. Would I go again, probably. It was cheap enough. You'll need to reserve beds as people are leaving towels over night with no one removing them. Annoyed me some families were reserving 5 or 6 beds and then going to the beach or sian park. Why?? Listen, we went as it was cheap, my son and partner didn't mind it. My son didn't like the food but we didn't mind it. We did plan on eating out alot anyway. Dont be fooled too much for the hotel considering its a 3 star I found this better than the Jacaranda in Costa adeje which was a 4 star!

Great location.... nothing else to sell it on
Pros:

Bit of a mixed review for this hotel. Firstly, the staff were brilliant. Every question we had, they answered politely and were helpful. In the restaurant, they were always attentive and polite. The rooms we stayed in were fine, large with small kitchen, separate sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. In our room, the smell from the wardrobes was disgusting. Best way of explaining, wet sweaty feet! Ended up living from our suitcases. As for the views, its a split between excellent views (4th floor and above) or "prison" views (3rd and below). Unfortunately ours was a prison view on the 3rd floor. Could see a small view of the sea next to a run-down building, lots of security fencing and barbed wire. Those below us only have a wall, so we couldn't complain. You have to pay for lots of things, the safe, wi-fi, air conditioning, TV remote, parasols and cushions for the sunbeds. Meals ranged from acceptable to poor. Breakfast was the usual catered for English, sausage, bacon, eggs. This was fine. Lunch and evening meals.. some nights lived on plate of chips. You could see some nights where people tried a meal, found it inedible and left it on their plates. Breaded chicken breast is a good example (overcooked with too much garlic). The restaurant itself is always clean and presentable, although the men's toilets needs work (two cubicles, one the light didn't work, the other didn't have a seat!). The drinks were watered down alternatives, drinking vodka felt the same as drinking coke. Pool snacks were fine, the toasties are really good. Finally the pools. Great that there are two pools, water is freezing regardless of what time of the day it is. Sunbeds have the usual towel coverings at 8:00am (they say towels are monitored and removed if not used. This is not the case, we saw four beds taken at 8:00, not used all day), but we managed to get one everyday. The layout is strange due to the underground rooms needing ventilation, spent a week sunbathing looking at a brick wall. Music was good but agree with some reviews where some life guards were just there to be seen (will say one lifeguard was good and attentive). Evening entertainment was hit and miss, the layout of the room wasn't the best so unable to get a decent crowd.

When sunbathing around the pool, heard on several occasions guests saying the same as the above.

In summary, positives:

Majority of staff are brilliant. No complaints.
4th floor and above, great views.
Some food is good.
Two pools.

Negatives:

Need to pay for simple extras (cash only).
Some food is poor.
Mediocre entertainment.
Pool area is cramped with blocked off views.
3rd floor and below, not so good views.

If you are visiting to go out each day, including eating and drinking, its a great place to stay in an excellent location. If all inclusive, like ourselves, and you stay above the 3rd floor, great views, but for everyone and everything else, not worth it. Its just below average, would mark it a 2.5 if possible.

Easily improved but not sure they care enough
Pros:

This hotel seemed far more focused on generating extra income than guest safety or comfort. You are charged €2 for a parasol per day, yet when a lady was struggling in the pool, the lifeguard showed very little urgency or concern. The lady had to be dragged from the water by other guests before the lifeguard slowly walked over, appearing completely unconcerned. It was genuinely upsetting to witness.

There were also numerous frustrating extra charges, including €10 for a TV remote and €15 for air conditioning (refundable but hit your cash)! Smoking and vaping were common around the pool and neighbouring sunbeds, with no intervention from hotel staff despite complaints. Reception staff were dismissive and uninterested when concerns were raised.

Food quality was very poor throughout the stay. Chips were regularly cold, food from lunchtime appeared to be reused later, chicken breast was undercooked, and overall choice was very limited. One particularly frustrating issue was the alternating breakfast options between omelettes and pancakes. Omelettes were clearly not in high demand, while pancakes disappeared almost immediately and more were constantly being cooked. It gave the impression that pancakes were restricted to every other day not for guest preference, but simply as a cost-saving measure. On one occasion, veal was also left sitting out for around an hour.

Meal times were restrictive, with dinner only served from 7pm–9pm, breakfast from 8am–10am, and lunch from 12:30pm–2pm. Another inconvenience was that cards were not accepted in many situations, meaning guests needed to carry cash constantly.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience with poor customer care, questionable food standards, and a clear focus on charging guests extra wherever possible.

A couple of pensioners view of our stay
Pros:

Ideal location close to plenty of shops and night life,10mins walk downhill to porta colon, a bit hilly on the return journey but only a few euros for a taxi from the front.
Hotel very clean and ALL staff very friendly and willing to help if needed, room 508 on 1st floor up from reception was good size and big comfy bed(2seperate mattresses) slept well as room was also fairly quiet from outside noise, air con and TV in the room but you had to hire the remotes to operate them( being a careful Yorkshireman there is a workaround 😉)
Full board is the usual fair not brilliant but not bad, potatoes were lovely though no matter how they were prepared, the meat on offer looked good but unfortunately it always seemed to be cooked too quick and was a bit tough to chew ( might have helped if I had all my teeth)found it was recycled later meals into stews etc very tasty and now tender, sweets are let's just say "sweet"
Pool area was both relaxing and clean and tidy( the pool man did an excellent job here and played some good tunes for us)
Downside is you have to hire things like remotes, mattresses for sun loungers and umbrellas ( might only be a few euros each but 2 of us for 10 days soon adds up, WiFi also had to be paid for but in my room 508 and reception /pool areas connection was fine but others said the lower levels very poor but staff did inform me there were problems, all in all me and my wife (both pensioners with a young outlook)loved the place and will certainly be looking at returning later in the year or certainly in 2027

Pros:

Read bad reviews on this hotel however we had a great experience and would go back. Rooms on higher floors are nicer with lovely Seaview. Would not like to stay on lower floors. Location is perfect staff are great. Paper cups at poolside for safety however if you took your own plastic glass they fill it no problem. Food could have been a little hotter but microwave there so no problem. And yes you pay for remotes but get refunded. 2 Euros a day for unbrellas. Overall for what we paid no complaints 😊

Great holiday
Pros:

We come here in June. me, my husband and 2 small children (aged 1 and 2) . We arrived quite late so the bar was nearly closing when we arrived. This wasnt a issue as they was loads of shops still open over the road to grap something to eat and for drinks.
The room was basic but was clean and had everything needed for our stay. We did have to pay to get the tv remote but we got that back.
The food was again basic and a bit mish matched but the food we did eat was nice. For the price it was good!
The location was great! Not far from the beach(although with a double pushchair it was a bit grooling up the hill back from the beach) but loads of shops and bars ect just over the road and down the street so everything you need on the door step, I did expect this to effect the noise levels at night but couldnt hear any noise at all.
The staff was all lovely and accommodating.
The pools was clean amd safe with a lifeguard at all times.
Only thing annoying was the 2 euro u have to spend every day for a sun umbrella ⛱️
The only other thing negative I can say is that there are no ramps for pushchairs or wheelchairs but it did have a wheelchair lift you can use but had to find someone to operate it so that was a bit annoying but we managed ok. There was nothing realy to entertain the kids (shows at night ect) but we wernt bothered to much by this as the kids are still realy young.
We always found a sunbed but as per there was them sun bed hogs going out at the crack of dawn to put towels out to reserve them and not even sit on them best part if the day 🤣 but you get this everywere.
If you do go here id recommend buying a decent size cup for the bar as the cups they give you are paper and after 1 sip and your back at the bar 🍸 .
We had a great time! We would definitely return to the area but would look for something with a bit more for the kids(pool with fountains ect) and evening entertainment for them but can not fault the hotel.
You get what you pay for.

Never again
Pros:

Well, what can I say…this is the worse three star hotel we have ever stayed in. When we walked into the restaurant we walked straight back out and never returned. The food looked old and like everyone had picked over it, plus nothing to even look appetising to eat. The tables were dirty and had food between the gaps which clearly showed they had not been cleaned properly. The rooms were ok and no sign of bed bugs, like in previous comments and reviews. The pools were small and the grass around them was questionable to say the least. The drinks at the all inclusive were poor and served in paper cups which is a joke, so top tip, take your own plastic cups with you. I have just had to take a week off work from getting back from here as I caught impetigo which I think was drinking out of dirty glasses at the hotel or the towels. Good luck if you visit here!

Bad start!
Pros:

After arriving at 10pm very tired we were quickly checked in but then told our room wasn't ready and we had to take a taxi to another hotel but would be reimbursed! We were not happy and quite upset but we had no choice. We returned at 11am the next morning after having to check out of the other hotel. We asked how this happened and feel we were lied to. It was a water problem then technical!! We think it was double booked. Anyway the hotel redeemed itself by giving us everything we should have paid a deposit for and our room on the last day +a bottle of carver. We enjoyed this hotel. Our room was great and adequate. The food was lovely and nothing to complain about. We went out every night so can't say what the entertainment was like. Our room was 702 and ladies the hairdryer was fab! Eleanora and Bradley were very helpful on reception when they could see how upset we were. The thing that I didn't appreciate was having to pay for a parasol or mattress for the very uncomfortable loungers if you weren't quick enough to get one of the nicer ones. Great location for everything around and a bus stop outside hotel for last Americas etc. Would I recommend or return. No, because I don't like the idea of paying deposits for everything, especially a kettle!! Even though we didn't have to pay, this trip!!. We did end up having a lovely Week.
