I stayed at the hotel in the past, but not recently....I love that it's near the river walk into the town of Peekskill. Breakfast is good...more fruit.....
The motel charges too much! $1000, including taxes for two nights is outrageous!! Also, Booking.com gave me one price and the hotel another....Very disappointed! I asked for a room with a walk in shower, which I didn't get. The woman who checked me in in the afternoon could have been nicer. The two men at the desk at other times, were wonderful!
Free parking and breakfast.
Pool too cool to swim. When asked receptionist about a room on top floor, he replied you couldn’t get a top floor for the price we paid. Very condescending.
The breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh and they did a good job keeping it stocked. Pool was clean. Room was super comfortable
Pool was freezing but that's not a huge issue. I did however have my hang tag on the door telling house keeping not to come in and they did walk in on us twice, I know accidents happen and again not a huge deal.
We liked the nearby park with walking trail AND the continental breakfast was very good (wide selection of food and clean service area).
cross walk by hotel to nearby park was not avialable so crossing over roadway on foot could be dangerous if you are older or have disability- may need a light added there at the corner and crosswalk to park

The spa tub was amazing. The lighting in the entire room was beautiful.
The pillows were cheap over used. Could definitely be firmer and the bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs.

The location was excellent. A close walk to the train station. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The coffee was available 24 hours and was wonderful. The staff particularly Melissa Rodriguez was exceptional. I made a mistake on my reservation and she spent a lot of time with me getting it cancelled through booking.com . I would highly recommend this hotel to future travelers.

Breakfast was sadly a big disappointment. Nice spread of food, however, the omelettes, sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes were pitiful. Holiday Inn needs to step up their game.
As fore mentioned, the breakfast was just not good quality.
The indoor pool was rather small, and only 4 ft deep. When we wanted to use it, we were told that it would be closed for the next hour due to chemical applications. Frustrating.
Loved the location right next to the Hudson River - we walked along the river park to the Metro North train station - the park is beautiful and the walk to the station is short.
