Nice location. We liked the sunny area for relaxing away from the beach. 24 hr coffee which is nice.
Desk staff was not there when we showed up. We had to wait an hour to check in. Not cool for this $$$.
Great location. Boutique hotel so fewer rooms. Loved my room especially the claw foot tub.

The location of McBee cottages was perfect for our first visit with doggy to Cannon Beach. Dog friendly amenities were great.
I had not realized when I booked that I was booking a “cozy queen” room. With 2 adults and a 45 lb dog it was a tight fit. Just one bed, tiny nightstand on one side and very small bathroom. We made it work though.
Gorgeous place, the style of the place was beautifully vintage so they clearly take great pride in being a historic hotel. The front desk was incredibly kind and explained quite a few things to me with zero issues. It was my first time ever fully booking and checking in to a hotel on my own, and they made it a wonderful experience. The location within town is also perfect! Great proximity to both the beach and downtown.

Location and friendly people
the location was great and cottage way easy to find after check in. proximity to beach was fantastic. about 1/2 mile walk to most restaurants and shops. bathroom heat fan was a nice touch
this room was not wroth the price! there were ink stains on the sheets/towels. the shower curtain was probably the cheapest one possilbe. the screen was torn out of the screen door which slammed shut very hard after each opening. one of the front door lights was burned out. very outdated. some further attention to detail is needed.
The hotel's location is amazing, just a few minutes walk to Haystack Rock and the beach. There is a small market just across. The room was really cute, clean and comfortable. Overall it was an amazing 3-day stay for me, would recommend and felt safe as a solo female traveler.
The only thing is I would've liked a mini fridge during my stay but I also didn't request it so maybe the staff would've been able to put one in the room so that one might be on me. Or maybe the room didn't include one.

A flawless 5 star experience! The room was spotless with an extra large jet tub for two. The bed was sooooooo incredibly soft. . Every detail was carefully curated for maximum relaxation

Great location, and the staff were super helpful and accommodating.
Definitely a tired building. We were on the ground floor so our windows were only about a meter distance from the parking lot. There was no tinting on the outside of the windows so we couldn’t open our blinds without knowing that whoever was walking outside could look straight into our room.
