Pros:

Loved the building, proper time warp stuff our old style room was large with a big shared patio/balcony. Bed was comfy, Aircon was weak but ok in combination with the ceiling fan. The place is showing its age but well worth a stay unless you're a fan of the modern/corporate hotel.There is an open air cafe in the front of the building menu was ok and it's a pleasant place to sit. Location is good in a quiet area not far from the station.

Cons:

Had an issue with management on the last day, nothing serious but left us feeling a bit sour.

Happy with the quality for the price point.
Pros:

The host was helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. The breakfast was decent too. It's an attractive traditional building. The cafe attached to it is a pretty good one with a pleasant shady outside area. Lastly, the cost for the room wasn't too steep.

Cons:

Don't book based on the pool (unless they get round to cleaning and fixing it)

La piscine est immonde ! Aucun entretien, à peine si on voit le fond ! Impossible donc d’imaginer même y tremper les pieds…
Nous avions pris cet hôtel pour profiter de la piscine après les visites de la ville. Nous sommes arrivés à minuit, et repartis dès le lendemain matin. Nous devions rester 4 nuits. À part la piscine, cet hôtel n’a absolument aucun intérêt, en tout cas au prix demandé. Nous avons trouvé un ravissant homestay dans un meilleur quartier, bien plus confortable, propre et moins cher. Vimal héritage, n’y allez pas !

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel it was a lovely big room. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The cafe at the hotel does really good food. The location was quiet and worked well for me and my children.

Cool aesthetics . Helping staff. Delicious complementary breakfast decent room spacious storage. Additional blanket was already kept . Felt safe comfortable and value for money

Cons:

Have to call for cleaning, towels or water bottles. Cleaning and room service needs improvement.

Ideal Heritage Hotel extending very courteous and royal type treatment
Pros:

It was quaint , a good old residential house nicely converted to a hotel giving us rich taste of the old and the new. A special mention should be said about the Hotel Manager Sharmaji, who was so smily and ready to everything to make guests comfortable. Very well spoken gentleman

Chambre jolie et spacieuse. Personnel à l écoute et très serviable

Cons:

Piscine peu engageante .. et la salle du petit déjeuner un peu tristoune . Nous aurons aimé prendre le petit déjeuner sur la jolie terrasse .

Pros:

Look out for Lucky the tuck tuk driver. Real name Ravi. Top driver with good English and so helpful
The hotel is beautiful if you want a real heritage place not a modern tourist pastiche
The staff are all excellent and could not be more helpful
The hotel is clean and full of character

Don't fall for the photos. Not recommended
Pros:

We liked the photos while booking the hotels & the outside decoration and nothing else.

Cons:

We booked the family /presidential suite. The room size defines the name. Other than that there was no toiletries, not even a simple handwash in the bathroom. The comode handheld spray not working, no bucket or even mug in sight. No hot water. We were offered another room but it was slightly better than the previous one. The swimming pool condition was also not inviting. The price we were paying was for suite but the room was a below of a below average motel. We stayed in om nivas hotel in our last visit,which is just a few meters away & it was a luxury. We fell for the photos of this hotel & took a wrong wrong wrong decision. Not recommended at all.

Beautiful haveli in need of an upgrade
Pros:

The property is a tastefully decorated haveli with some amazing features. The hotel staff are fabulous- very courteous and attentive to your every need. The owners also live in the same premises. They are friendly and chatty. Provided some useful tips about shopping in Jaipur.
However the rooms need modernisation. The bathrooms are in dire need of an upgrade.
