Disappointing Stay and Poor Guest Experience
Pros:

We stayed at Novotel Candolim Beach for 2 nights and unfortunately did not have a pleasant experience. The property is quite far from the beach, and there is no shuttle service provided by the hotel. One can still walk like for 1.5kms but walking to the beach is also inconvenient, as there is no proper footpath along the way.

The hotel was under renovation during our stay, and we found the front desk staff to be rude and unhelpful. The play area was also closed due to the renovation, which was disappointing. However, the only advantage of the location is that it is in the middle of the market, so there are multiple restaurants and shops nearby.

The breakfast was average, and the rooms felt very old and tired. Overall, we would not recommend this property. Also, if any kind of renovation is going on, it would be better for the hotel to inform guests at the time of booking, as it is quite inconvenient to find out after arrival.

The view from thr hotel room was into a dilapidated bungalow right behind the property at not more than 5 mtrs away.

Great hotel. Avoidable spa
Pros:

Good property. Good location. The spa on the other hand is surprisingly below par. Some of their therapists are unskilled and u trained. The therapist my wife got was astonishingly unskilled. Forget relaxation, it was an unsettling therapy, not to mention potentially dangerous as an amateur can cause damage with therapy. So if a spa in the hotel is on your list then avoid. Else, go for it.
