We came to Michigan with our grandchildren from California to visit our grandchildren in Michigan and it was very close
Pros:

The location was amazing being on the river. We had beautiful views every morning for breakfast.

Cons:

I was taking the only train to Chicago the next morning. Too early to have breakfast. I asked about getting coffee and maybe a granola bar to take with me. The desk told me there would be coffee available. Would have been nice if they offered a bar and piece of fruit. Other hotels often do that.

Amazing time at the Doubletree
Pros:

I cannot express how much I love this hotel. We had our 60th family reunion at this location. The staff was amazing. They worked with us every step of the way from booking the rooms to planning the banquet. The rooms were spacious comfortable and clean. Especially the waterfront rooms. The food was great. The location was perfect. Hands down one of my favorite Doubletrees.

Beautiful location, spacious hotel.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything seemed to run smoothly at the hotel and the whole vibe was great. Nice, clean, professional and relaxing.

The overall facility was great place to stay and watch the freighters.
Pros:

i had them move us to match the picture i booked on line. We originally were looking at the parking lot. Plus, because i booked thru your site i could not receive my hilton honors points. Which left me out of a free breakfast.

Horrible!
Pros:

Room was not clean. Had to ask for toilet paper, washcloth, water & coffee. Three elderly sisters, we came in from 90 degree heat & asked for water, receptionist told us we already received our 2 bottles of water but she would give us two bottles! there were 3 of us! The pool area was very dirty & there were broken chairs.

Cons:

The beds were comfy.

Pros:

Great location! Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies! Ate both nights at Freighters and had the best meals!
