Thankfully only one night stay.
Pros:

There were two things I liked about this place, its proximity to I-80, and checking out and leaving.

Cons:

The hotel was one of top five dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in some bad places. It's only saving grace was that the bed was clean. And trust me, given the state of the rest of the room, I checked closely. The bathtub was old and mildewy. The furniture was old, cracked, and dirty. The floor was sticky and within five minutes of getting out of the shower, my feet were black. My dog was with me so I went to the front desk to let them know about the furniture so they wouldn't think my dog did anything, and the front desk representative just said, "yeah, we are getting ready to remodel." She wasn't rude but was completely indifferent. There was no offer of a different room, or apology. She just didn't care. The next day, I went and asked about an ice machine and a different front desk employee said curtly, "we don't have one." Only after I replied with a surprised "okay" did she say, "sorry, I just woke up. We have bags of ice if you want one." What? You just woke up is a lousy excuse for poor customer service. Also, what large chain hotel doesn't have an ice machine? I don't mind paying a lot for a room if it is nice and the customer service is great. This place completely missed both marks. My recommendation: Find someplace better. This place is gross and the service is lacking.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When we first arrived, the general manager told my grandmother there were no restrooms in the lobby. Later that same day, we discovered there were lobby restrooms after all. That left us wondering why we were told otherwise.

We arrived around 8:00 a.m. because I was traveling for a work assignment. We understood that early check-in might not be available, but the way it was communicated was unprofessional. Instead of explaining the situation politely, the general manager said, "It's 8:00 in the morning. We don't have rooms ready yet," in a rude and dismissive tone.

To make matters worse, the staff initially suggested that we extend our stay. However, when we called the next day to do exactly that, we were told there were no rooms available because the hotel was fully booked.

Overall, the customer service was disappointing. Guests deserve to be treated with respect, clear communication, and professionalism. The experience left us feeling unwelcome, and I hope management works on improving how they treat all guests.
