Enorme ballentent

Kamers waren redelijk

Cons:

Zeer slechte ervaring. Dit hotel profileert zich als “resort”, maar in de praktijk is het een chaotische, slecht onderhouden partyplek waar basiszaken niet op orde zijn.

Bij aankomst was onze kamer niet eens bruikbaar: de wc lekte en de badkamervloer lag vol met vies water, wat bovendien leek te zijn afgedekt met een handdoek. Het duurde ongeveer twee uur voordat dit werd opgelost. Onacceptabel na een lange reis.

Daarnaast moesten we onverwacht ongeveer €50 betalen om gebruik te maken van ligbedden bij het zwembad. Dit is nergens duidelijk gecommuniceerd tijdens het boeken, terwijl het zwembad een kernfaciliteit is. Dit voelt als misleidend.

De algemene staat van het hotel is ronduit slecht. Het restaurant was continu een rommel: tafels vol lege glazen en sigaretten, natte en onbruikbare zitplekken, en nauwelijks schoonmaak. Regels worden totaal niet gehandhaafd — gasten roken waar het niet mag en gooien sigaretten in het zwembad zonder dat personeel ingrijpt.

Het dieptepunt was de manier waarop het personeel en management met klachten omgaan. Toen wij onze problemen meldden, werd de manager boos en begon tegen ons te schreeuwen. Vervolgens kregen we een zogenaamd “oplossing”: we konden de resterende nachten terugkrijgen, maar alleen als we binnen ongeveer een uur zouden uitchecken. Dat is uiteraard niet realistisch. De volgende ochtend werd dit aanbod ineens teruggebracht naar slechts één nacht, opnieuw met een extreem korte deadline. Dit is geen service, dit is klanten onder druk zetten.

Kort samengevat: slechte hygiëne, verborgen kosten, onprofessioneel en agressief personeel, en totaal geen fatsoenlijke klachtenafhandeling. Absoluut niet aan te raden.
