Absolutely the WORST and most horrifying experience I’ve ever had at any hotel in my life. I’m flabbergasted that this place is considered a 3 star hotel - I’ve stayed at run down motels with better service. The rooms are filthy, with a cockroach infestation. We had cockroaches crawling all over the walls and floors, and had to buy cockroach spray during our stay. The bedsheets were filthy when we first checked in and had LIPSTICK STAINS! There were dust balls and weird hair clumps in the corners of the room and the supposedly clean towels had yellow stains. The hotel staff are hilariously incompetent and barely speak any English or Telugu, and communicating with them for even the smallest of things was an absolute nightmare. The house keeping staff are extremely rude and inept, and ruined my shoes by carelessly spraying cleaning solution into my shoes while they were mopping the floors. What’s worse is that not a single person in this hotel took any accountability or responsibility for how terrible our stay was. Oh! And when we used their laundry service, they damaged our clothes and returned our clothes with pen stains! Most pathetic and horrible hotel and staff. Please stay far away!
I recetly stayed at this property for 3 nights during a business trip to Hyderabad.
It is located close to city's IT hub and conveniently located. There is a car parking available in front of this hotel.
The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The staff are courteous.
There is well spread buffet breakfast.
The food is tasty.
Some of the food items are quite spicy with lots of chillies e.g. sambar, rasam, gravy, etc. Hence, one needs to inform the staff at the time of food ordering to reduce the spices and chillies' levels.
Overall a recommended place to stay while in Hyderabad.
It’s my third visit to this property and it’s not the same like my last visit. Staff, property maintenance, food, nothing was good.
First, the good things: the rooms of this hotel are very large—I think the largest in its category—and they are neat and clean, too, with big bathrooms that have the necessary toiletries. The restaurant looks premium, and the food I had was tasty. Breakfast was also okay. The bad things are that the whole hotel seems like a darkroom, with no sunlight from any side. The big room has the tiniest window a hotel can have, and the carpets in the lobby and restaurant were literally stinking and worn-out. The reception is in a very awkward place, and the entrance seems like the entrance of a cheap bar.

Very decent hotel. formality for foreigners at the entrance but nit too long 🤣 spacious and clean room. Ans clean barhroom too. breakfast ok for the French that I am with a lot of choice 😂. close to everything and especially a great shopping center.
It’s good overall
The value and worth of my 7 day/night stay at the Minerva Grand Kondapur; Excellent! And as a traveler to India for over 4 decades, that says a lot. Indeed, the comfort of my room, the tranquility there, and the overall cleanliness of my room, the hallways, the overall facility, alone: I would highly consider the Minerva whenever I might return to Hyderabad. But what stands ABOVE all of this: the stellar service expressed to me by the staff. This is what places the Minerva permanently on my map with Bold Letters as #1 choice to return to. There are such a number of staff who expressed their professional and kind attention to my needs. Where to begin? I had written down a list of names to keep note of, but sadly in the midst of my return journey, I lost that page. By memory: Vikram at the front desk, Prasanth at the front desk; both of whom facilitated my stay, my transportation smoothly, respectively. Also Vijay who arranged for me to have an adaptor so that I could use my computer with an American plug, for recharging. And those, each warm smiles, who served me at the Blue Fox restaurant [as well as those cheerfully taking my phone orders --chai and more-- for delivery to my room], and those who delivered meals to my room, and those who assisted me at the elevators. I very highly recommend the Minerva. And I hope, per circumstances, to greet the Minerva staff again in the not distant future. [Finally, I apologize for missing other specific names.Kind wishes.]
Excellent and well sustained pax delight attributes years together in a flawless mode. During my multiple visits, feeling same freshness and "all in their place" which felt during first visit few years back. This time witnessed of so many new Menu items additions at buffet. Eversmiling lady before dining is same who welcomes whole heart and asks politely " Are you from room stay or walk in?" Thanks to her care and timely providing hot dosas!
Room cleanliness is average. Water stains everywhere in the bathroom. Rest of the place is okay. AC works but temp control did not work.
Service is pathetic...
We booked 2 rooms, one through a website and the other later on directly. We were told no breakfast over phone for both rooms, but mail for the second room said breakfast included. The front desk too said no breakfast included. However during checkout we were told that breakfast was included in the package but they cannot do anything as it was already billed....
It seemed as though most of the staff were interns..
Overall a disappointing experience
Worst experience we had in minerva kondapur. They are not able to handle the group gatherings like 100-150 members. better to avoid this hotel.
They were literally failed to serve the starters to us. We need to enter the kitchen for starters. Staff are helpless and under pressure.
Even soft drinks also they were not able to supply sufficiently. Simply saying stock completed.
Its waste of money for group gatherings. Even food also not sufficient. More than 30 people not even got sufficient food.
The experience was an ok type. The food wasn't great. The room service was pathetic. Some weird sounds from AC.
We stayed there as we had to attend a family function nearby. Stay is very comfortable, and amenities are good for the budget. Staff was very prompt and service is good. Breakfast is good. Would have been better if they have South Indian options in lunch and dinner as well.
I had stayed last week for 5 days, accommodated by my company. It was my first stay in this hotel. Room was maintained very neat and clean way. I could easily compare the room colours, aesthetics, designs and room supplies with Novotel Hotels. Minerva has maintained very well. Employees were being hygienically present, showcasing good attitudes while assisting and serving me. I saw many interns (in white shirts) were also serving, they were with masks and complete service attire. Loved it, especially during this pandemic situation.
It was the night curfew imposed in the city and I was facing few problems for that. However managed with few services in hotel. I had frequent requests for water in my room as Hyderabad now is terribly hot and the team was always punctual for this too.. Food taste is also good, although I didn't have any interaction with their Chef. Chicken Biryani was really good. I requested for late check-out and they agreed upon. Special thanks to the FO female member, BluFox Supervisor (Cant remember their names), they were very helpful all the times.
I am a regular customer to Minerva grand and with Kondapur property I have stayed last in 2019 March and there will be a tours gap due to Corona pandemic. Comparing with my last stay experience, nothing has changed, same hospitality levels, hygiene, customer delight etc. Only suggestion to front office is to wear face mask as during my checkin/ checkout, I have witnessed a nice smiling girl without mask and a handsome guy with half wear mask. And heartful apreciation also to front office for their support in quick and hassle free check in and checkout.
Serene, Hygiene and room interior delights are as usual top-ups.
Very well located and have commutation to different places and very near major IT offices and close to the malls & multiplexes in the city . Walkable distanve from major cinema halls in the city and close to ORR

Nice and Comfortable
I stayed at the Minerva Grand in Kondapur for three nights. The staff are very helpful, the room was very clean and it felt like a safe place to stay. There’s a restaurant called the Blue Fox at the hotel and I highly recommend it. I had the best chicken tikka masala I have ever tasted. I liked it so much I had it for dinner every night.
Getting about Hyderabad isn’t easy without the Uber app. I recommend you have this downloaded on your phone before you travel. Wi-if was a bit hit and miss at the hotel. That aside, a great place to stay in the tech district of the city.
Minerva Grand Kondapur is a good hotel. I had been there on 26 August 2019 with a few friends. The restaurant Blue Fox provides excellent food. It has dimly lit with nice ambience. We had ordered Tomato Soup, Dum Biryani, Sambhar Rice and Curd Rice. All the items were quite tasty. The service was also excellent. Location is also good as it is not very far from HiTech city
