Very comfortable.
Pros:

Facilites are good and the staff is amazing,
they left bottle waters everyday, it could worth include a coffee machine or complimentary coffee.
The location is hard to understand but the staff gives great directions.

Cons:

The TV connection was not good.

I would not recommend Hotel Plaza Genova to anyone.

When we booked this hotel through Booking.com, the photos gave the impression of a modern, renovated 4-star hotel. However, when we arrived, we were assigned Room 2208 on the second floor, and it looked nothing like the pictures online.

The room was in terrible condition: an old and deteriorated bathroom, worn-out beds, torn towels, dirty hallways, and missing basic amenities like soap and shampoo. It was clear that this part of the hotel has not been renovated.

After arguing with the front desk staff—who unfortunately did not speak English and made communication very difficult—we finally convinced them to move us. After spending the first two nights in the unacceptable room, they moved us for nights three and four to a normal hotel room on a higher floor. The difference was incredible. The new room was exactly what we expected when we made the reservation.

The hotel staff admitted that the hotel is being remodeled starting on the third floor, which explains why the upper floors are much nicer. The problem is that Booking.com does not show the real condition of the rooms on the first and second floors. The online photos only reflect the renovated rooms, which is very misleading.

Note: the towals was terrible. See the pictures. No shampoo and soap for a hotel 1 star

To make matters worse, we also had another room in the hotel that cost almost $200, while Room 2208 cost over $760 for the same night. The cheaper room was in much better condition than the expensive one. There is absolutely no justification for charging premium prices for such poor accommodations.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its excellent location in downtown Guadalajara.

My advice: If you decide to stay here, do not accept a room on the first or second floor. Those floors are outdated, worn out, and completely different from the rooms shown in the Booking.com listing. Until Booking.

Hotel en el centro de Guadalajara, buena relación precio calidad. Habitaciones Muy grandes y comodas. Buffet en el desayuno variado, pero pocas opciones en el menú del restaurante. Buen hotel.

Pros:

Está muy bien remodelado, se ve moderno por dentro. Las habitaciones de buen tamaño y excelente servicio. Nos apoyaron con la reserva de un tour apenas llegamos. Súper bien en general. Excelente ubicación. El internet súper rápido y gratis. Nos recibieron las maletas antes de la hora estipulada para el check-in, lo que nos posibilitó salir a conocer sin preocuparnos.

Cons:

Deberían remodelar el centro de la planta baja del hotel que se ve desde las ventanas de los cuartos que dan al interior. En las habitaciones de alado nos tocaron unos huéspedes extremadamente ruidosos que a las 3am azotaban puertas y gritaban, por lo que no pudimos dormir bien.
