Um für einige Tage Midland und Umgebung zu erkunden absolut okay.
Pros:

Sehr großes Zimmer, viel Platz. Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür. Betten bequem. Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle im Zimmer. Der nächste Supermarkt ist quasi um die Ecke.

Cons:

Das eine Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung furchtbar gequietscht und das Zimmer ist ziemlich dunkel. Frühstück nur bis 9.00 Uhr und damit zu früh für uns.

Very concerned for our health and others who were breathing in that Odour.we stayed there August 4-6th 2026.we wouldn’t

The staff were accommodating , and pleasant trying to solve an issue we had.

Cons:

I’m sad to say this was a very poor experience for us . The biggest issue was the chemical smell coming from the air conditioning unit the first day and night we didn’t realize that it was coming from the air conditioning unit. So we left it on as it was very warm out. However after turning the air off we realized that was the problem. The staff tried to give us a different room as the Oder was so strong but each room we went into the air was off but you could smell the lingering Oder. As it was after ten when all this was happening it was too late to try for a different place to stay so we just kept the air off and the window open . This was a very comfortable experience. I realize this is something that needs to be carried out to kill bacteria from standing water however those rooms should not be rented out until the Oder has dissipated. The other minor issues were electrical plugs that didn’t work. The breakfast was only 2 hrs from 7-9 and when your spending more than one night opening until 10 AM would be more appropriate. Having said that the breakfast is so sparse we didn’t even eat there on the last morning. We are usually not dissatisfied with the breakfasts at other places we have stayed at.

Pros:

Breakfast was fine, pretty much the usual. There is no elevator so we requested a first floor room, which was accommodated. Location was good for getting to various points in Georgian Bay, which was our plan.

Pros:

The breakfast buffet was good. The location is very convenient, there is a commercial area near by when we needed something it was easy. Short drive to the very nice downtown area by the water.
