Nice stay!
Pros:

Hotel is in the most central position in downtown Dar es Salaam and I recommend it to people who want to experience real life and rhytm of the city. Rooms are spacious and equipped with all amenities and all staff very nice and professional. Breakfast very good, with variety of fresh and tasty dishes, buffet dinner as well. It was really a nice stay!

Big rooms, nice breakfast but rooms have uvundo
Pros:

The Staff are very welcoming, they have good breakfast with many options.

I was in the 9 flow had not heard any noises from outside. But rooms smell a bit from mold (uvundo). They should at least let Dry air circulation to prevent rooms to smell, because autside air is very humid in Dar ES Salaam.

Tiffany Diamond Hotel. A cut above the rest.

Athens hotel rooms were clean. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The General manager took time to talk to our big team.

A very good Tanzanian hotel
Pros:

A very good 'Tanzanian' hotel with branches in Dar es Salaam and in the far south of the country at Mtwara. Unlike other big hotels catering for tourists from outside Tanzania, this is not part of a multi-national chain. The staff are welcoming and efficient and there is a choice of room categories. A wide 'local' selection at the buffet breakfast is a satisfying start to your day. I have never before written a hotel review (although I have stayed in many) but with this I wanted to promote a hotel I have always been happy to stay in, and one that benefits the local economy more than most others.
