La dueña era muy intrusiva y maleducada, vino a exigir el pago el día antes del check-out, aún teniéndolo reservado por tarjeta de crédito me pidió que pagara en efectivo bajo amenaza de cobrarme un 5% de comisión. No había ningún tipo de gel de ducha, una vez ya había hecho el check in vino a importunarme a mi habitación pidiendome que me limpiara los pies antes de entrar en el Bungalow. Varios detalles de este tipo que no me gustaron.

Leider absolut heruntergekommen. Bett so hart, dass ich es nicht ausgehalten habe. Wand bröselte ab, Laken waren fleckig, schwarzer Schimmel unter kaputtem Schreibtisch, Kühlschrank unbenutzbar und unschöner Geruch.

The bungalows are a bit outdated, but I did not mind this at all. They still have everything you need, and it adds to the authentic atmosphere. I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Mancanza della pulizia della camera e della sostituzione asciugamani. anche la carta igienica l'abbiamo dovuta richiedere al signora che saltuariamente stava presso la reception. Struttura un po' datata.

We didn’t have any problems with the accommodation - but I would emphasise that if you are looking for some of the ‘extras’ you get in hotels, this is not the place for you. The accommodation was basic with no frills (e.g. no hairdryer, no daily cleaning or replacement towels, no bottled water provided in room etc.). This was not a problem for us, as we knew that it was offering basic, budget accommodation and we weren’t expecting hotel standards.

The quality of the accommodation on site varies according to price i.e. some of the very budget options are even more basic. Our room was mid range in terms of pricing on the site and we paid more for a room with twin beds and air con. This also meant we had more room and a sitting area. The furniture is worn, but functional. Read the descriptions carefully and look at the photos so that there are no surprises.

The only thing that was slightly disturbing was quite an aggressive dog who lived on site. He got a little territorial one day as we were returning to our bungalow. However, although he roamed freely he was muzzled so no harm done and the owner was quick to reprimand him, but it might be a little off putting if you’re afraid of dogs.

No breakfest possibility

There was no shampoo, soap, coffee, tea or water in the room nor did they have it available at all for purchase. There was no water kettle to make coffee or tea if I wanted to purchase myself and make it in the room. The off the beaten path location made this a bit of a challenge! The room could have been cleaner, turning on the lights made me notice dirty walls, and stained sheets. The sheets were clean, just old and stained. I saw the biggest cockroach of my life when I opened the curtains over my bed.. it was on the window directly over the bed! The grout in the bathroom was dirty and the water pressure was very low and no hot water. Being a less expensive option on the beach, I would have expected some of this, however the combination of it all made me want to give a detailed review. I checked out and stayed a while for a massage and as I was leaving asked if I could use the bathroom on site and was told it would be 20 bhat for cleaning as where it was is ‘private’ and they have to pay the cleaning person.
