Nach einem arbeitsreichen Tag freut man sich auf eine ordentlich Unterkunft. Die Bezeichnung Hotel für das Hotel Bürgerhaus ist daher übertrieben - passender wäre Jugendherberge besser noch Zimmer zum Übernachten. Ein langer unbeleuchteter Flur im Tiefparterre, Bettlaken mit braunen Flecken. Am nächsten Tag die Überraschung: kein Zimmerservice: Bett nicht gemacht, Bad nicht geputzt, Mülleimer nicht geleert, keine frischen Handtücher,... nichts außer einem mürrischen Angestellten. Der Preis für eine Nacht entspricht nicht der damit verbundenen Leistung. Gerne würde ich hierfür Kostenersatz fordern.
Bei Ankunft um ca. 15 Uhr war das Hotel verschlossen. Eine an der Tür befestigte Telefonnummer konnte ich nach mehreren Versuchen erreichen. Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel erst um 18 Uhr öffnet. Einen Hinweis zum Check-In ab 18 Uhr konnte ich weder bei hotels.com noch vor Ort finden. Weiterer Service beim Check-In um 18 Uhr wurde nicht angeboten, stattdessen bekam ich einen Hausschlüssel und das war es. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, aber von der Einrichtung her sehr, sehr einfach und ungemütlich. Der Preis ist gemessen an Lage, Service und Ausstattung zu hoch.

I would not call this a hotel - at best it is an outdated B&B . Room and bathroom was really outdated and not very clean. Not a comfortable place to stay. Staff/owners were helpful enough but I would not stay here again. Looks like the building is part of a block of council flats . Very disappointed that this place is on the Hotels.com website

Die Zimmer haben das Flair der 60er, weit ab von modern. Das Internet im Hotel ist schlecht, es ist laut. Es wird nicht auf Sauberkeit geachtet. Hoteleigene Parkplätze sind nicht vorhanden. Der Preis >80€ ist schlicht eine Frechheit.
We ended up paying for two nights extra even though we had called ahead by a week an warned them on of the fellow was arriving a day late and leaving a day early. The place was OK. The wifi turned off at 9:30 PM and was spotty until 7 AM the following morning....this happened every day.

When the owner needs to have a golf club outside in the hallway it ain't good. Plus he tryed to charge me twice. At the desk for 3 hours ringing bank and trying to explain to him he had my money. Next day he said he had it. No apology no notting. Avoid
hotel is gevestigt in een flatgebouw. buurt is afgelegen. kamers zijn wel groot en voldoen. retaurant is in de buurt. Prijs/kwaliteit is niet goed. Voor zo'n hotel is de prijs veels te hoog. De mensen die het hotel runnen zijn vriendelijk, maar ze spreken de talen niet.
