Digger Inn

Great lodge in Francistown for 5 persons. Amazing dinner with a lot of choice. Staff very pleasna tand helpful. I and my older children did a great running around the Digger at 18h. All fantastic

Dubbelsängen var stor och skön, mindre bra var att barnens våningssäng gnisslade väldigt högt vid varje liten rörelse de gjorde.. men den var iallafall också skönt bäddad.

It was lovely

The family room met our needs, the check in staff, not really helpful attitude after we had travelled a long distance and it was later in the evening with small children, a small guidance on how to unload and get bags in would have helped. Check out was an unnecessary long process, the lady wanted to check which site I booked through, even after I confirmed via Expedia, she wanted to share how with the other sites payment is not taken.

Its a great location.

Hard to find but nice and quiet once there. Bathroom vents blowing in kitchen (fryer) smells straight into the room

Easy and authentic

Older property but well maintained. Good wifi, excellent restaurant on the property.

We had an initial hiccup with a different room being reserved than what we actually booked on expedia so I recommend confirming with the Inn via phone which room you have booked but they sorted it out for us and we had a really nice stay. Stayed a night each in the deluxe family and the family rooms and both were clean, nice, spacious rooms and had everything we needed. Both restaurants connected to the Inn had great food and service. Thank you.

Restaurants and shops within short walking distance. Weekends can be noisy at night because of street parties and music nearby

The hotel's restaurant was excellent but no nearby alternatives.

Stayed at Digger Inn a number of times now. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Had very little interaction with staff beyond collecting keys but they are friendly. Wifi system is a little arcane and patchy. Food in the restaurant leaves much to be desired. The Thorn Tree is much better than the hotel bar/restaurant. But overall, for Francistown, it works. I will stay there again.

Online booking was easy and efficient, the staff were very friendly, our wifi did not work all the time causing some frustration.

Nur das angeschlossene Restaurant (Dinner) und Cafe (Frühstück) sind nicht so prickelnd hinsichtlich der Qualität des Essens.

I like Diggers. Stayed a few times and it suits our needs adequately. Colonial style architecture and design feel. Friendly staff and good food next door. Clean rooms and usually not too busy. Good hotel.
