The room and staff were nice. The room ws clean and in a good location since I needed access to the highway.
Early Sunday morning I was woken up by no7ce from other rooms. Possibly vacuuming from the staff or a resident. The flooring in ny room was nice but maybe the wood floors could have some additional insulation to prevent noise from traveling between the rooms.
What hotel lets you reserve a stay knowing they will have a planned, long power outage during that stay? We had a terrible experience with Aloft. They had a planned 4-6 hour power outage that they failed to tell us about when we checked in. As a matter of fact, we tried to check in about 7:30PM and were told it would be a 15 min. wait because our room wasn't ready, they had an electrical issue and were finishing up. Finally, after 30 min, we got our keys. The next day, the power went out and we were in the dark, no air conditioning, no elevators, and we had to get ready for a family gathering. Went to the front desk via the dark hall and stairs, and a walk around the building. We were informed they had sent us an email ahead of time with the information that the power would be off most of the day and that they were sorry. We did NOT receive an email, and we were not told on check-in. We cancelled the remainder of our stay expecting to be refunded for this planned (on their part) inconvenience. We could not get back to our room because the stairway doors were locked. Maintenance's key did not work. Finally, staff was able to reach someone inside on their cell to come let us in from the inside. It was a fiasco that took 90 minutes of back and forth outside, walking around the building, trying all the stairway doors, and involving various staff to resolve. They are now refusing to refund the two nights cancelled. Also, they have not provided the opportunity to rate our experience on their website. This is unacceptable of a major hotel chain and because I can't put a review on their website, I'll post it everywhere I can.

I had to change rooms due to a smell in the room. They made accommodations immediately which I appreciated.
Kevin- Absolutely loved the bartender at the hotel bar! His energy was amazing from the moment we walked in super fun, welcoming, and made the whole experience unforgettable. Great drinks, great vibes, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. Kevin kept the atmosphere lively and made me feel comfortable. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip

There were questionable stains on the beanbag chair, which I did not use.
I love the aloft beachwood its one of my favorites. I especially love Kevin at the bar his hospitality is amazing and so accommodating not to mention the drinks are always consistent and great. I come here even if I do not stay when I have free time. Overall 10/10 experience
I was only here one night but what an impact! Bob checked me in and he was great, very thorough. On my way out to dinner, Cherie greeted me with a big smile and complimented my brand new peach sweater and how it looked on me. And when I came back with my to-go dinner and asked “What time does the bar open again?” Kevin responded “Right now!”, even though I’m sure it would open until another 20 minutes or so. He also came to my rescue by providing one of those stain pen remover after I spilled something on my pants!
Updated, modern, close to Pinecrest mall and the freeway. Nice common area with pool table and board games. Common area very nice. Made to order breakfast had great prices.
The rooms were excellent, but the bathroom has no towel racks whatsoever. The common area had a little bit too much air freshener. Convenience food items were overpriced.

I was required to present confirmation of my breakfast purchase via Booking.com, as breakfast is typically offered separately or incurs a daily charge. Despite initial hesitation regarding third-party bookings, the establishment honored my request after I provided the necessary documentation. While the issue was ultimately resolved, the process was somewhat inconvenient. It was communicated that their systems do not interface effectively, which, from my perspective, should not impact a service I have already paid for.
Aside from the breakfast incident, our king suite accommodations were satisfactory. However, the sliding bathroom door, which separates the shower and toilet area from the vanity and the rest of the suite, would not remain closed. Additionally, our proximity to an exit door resulted in disruptive noise due to its frequent forceful closure, an issue we understand is beyond your immediate control but significantly impacted our rest.
