Pros:

All facilities were clean and inviting. Staff were welcoming and helpful especially as we were staying over the public holidays. It was quiet and relaxing spot but walking distance to everything.

Large apartment in a great location, but has room for improvement

Good location, large room, comfortable couches and bed, beautiful new bathroom

Cons:

A few things weren't great: We could hear people upstairs/next door quite loudly. Even heard them flicking light switches and flushing the toilet..

The TV is tiny and all the way on the other side of the massive room. Not in front of the lounge suite and was too far away for decent viewing from the bed or lounge.

There was a microwave on the desk and a tray of utensils. On the other side of the room there was a bar fridge with some more kitchenware and a kettle. The only sink was the fancy sink in the bathroom and was very difficult to wash dishes in there. It really could do with a kitchenette.

Carpet was quite stained too. Other than that it was very clean overall

A single night stay is sufficient to see Launceston, as the city is quite small and manageable
Pros:

The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants. You can leave your car parked at the property and walk to a nearby cafe for breakfast, or enjoy lunch and dinner at some of the best restaurants in Launceston

Cons:

Rooms are not soundproof. It was noisy at night due to neighbors talking and using the stairs

Staff very friendly, willing to help with luggage if required and knowledgeable of the local area and able to give suggestions on food and activities.
Great location.
Room was neat and tidy.

Cons:

Ground floor room you can hear everything that moves above you, when other guests use the shower in other rooms and could hear muffled talking in adjoining room...explains the ear plugs they offer in bathroom.

Great place, great location
Pros:

Stayed at The Hideaway on George and it was fantastic. The check-in process was easy, and the apartment was big, clean, and very comfortable, with a king-size bed and a great bath. The central location made it easy to get around downtown Launceston. We had a vehicle, so the steep hills in the area weren’t an issue at all. Would happily stay here again.
