Good location, easy to find and great value
Not much at all, I guess the kitchen was a little basic but fine for 1 or 2 people
Very warm and friendly welcome from Ali upon arrival and explained everything about the hotels facilities and breakfast times etc. I was upgraded to slightly larger, higher floor room which was definitely appreciated. The room itself was very comfortable and modern, great facilities and bathroom too. I did notice though sadly some of the cutlery was not fully cleaned but they do provide washing liquid and dishwasher tablets so not a huge drama just needs a bit of attention to detail.
Very comfortable bed and I did eventually get to sleep but unfortunately outside of the hotels control a horrid family thought it was ok let their children run and up down the corridor for hours knocking on each others doors, other guests need to show more respect especially when in our country.
The gym was very small and could do with some proper attachments to use the cable machine that’s in there.
Breakfast was as expected and not too busy, would have liked a choice on eggs and unsure if poached eggs were available to order as no info.
Checkout was efficient but not asked about my stay was less friendly than the welcome.
Great location and would consider staying again but sadly other guests made the stay less comfortable which I appreciate isn’t the hotels fault!

The range of breakfast options was great. And after a long day travelling the day before, the fact that it was available until 11am was fantastic. The room was very clean and nicely done. The floor was a little noisy from other guests, but that was probably more a combination of luck and being in a room close to the lifts. The location was great. Right in the heart of Birmingham, with Grand Central only a 2 minute walk. And the Bullring being only about 5 minutes away, if that.
There is nothing I didn't like. The noise coming from other guests in the hall was unfortunate but probably can't be helped that much. If you want a quieter room, perhaps see if you can stay on a higher floor or in a room further away from the lifts.
Good location
Used underwear from previous tenant left under bedside table. Aircon not working and poor ventilation. Room and bathroom quite small.
We thought the room was very clean, bed was comfy. the breakfast was nice and topped up and the location was great. Really really happy and will stay again. Highly recommend.
Bed frame was a little worn on the leather, hall way was warm walking to rooms
The room temperature was comfortable in the hot weather, very efficient AC. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty. The main bed was very comfortable. Black out curtains made for a good night sleep.
The sofa bed was not very comfortable, fine for a small child but not for a heavier adult.
Clean and tidy with all the facilities you need was like a mini apartment

The bed was awful. I had a sore back from how hard the mattress was. I have been before and it's never been that bad. I would have been comfier on the floor.
The breakfast times need adjusting. There is a card in the room explaining when it's busy and when it's quieter. I went down at the anticipated quieter hours and it was very very busy.
The shower was okay. Pressure wasn't great and the temperature fluctuated during despite me setting the temperature at a preferred setting. I had to duck out from under the spray at one point as it suddenly became red hot.
The kitchenette is good on past visits. This time some key kitchen equipment was missing. Things that have been available on prior visits.
The plug sockets in the room are unreliable. My phone would not stay charging despite the plug and cable being perfectly fine.
The breakfast is much more limited than previous visits also. Sausages were overcooked. Scrambled eggs were watery and tasteless.
The lifts are awful. Noisy. The door on one of them shook all the way up and down. There are four lifts and only two are operational. One is kept permanently as a service lift however a staff member pushed an entire massive blue cart (taller than me!) into the lift while I was in it. Which I don't understand keeping a lift aside for service if it's not going to be used. The other one was just out of action entirely. There seems to be no urgency to remedy this. Sometimes you end up going up and down because of others calling the lift.
Also the hallways and communal areas are too warm, it would be fine in winter but on hot days like this week, exiting your room into the hallway is unbearable.
The room was great for the price and the breakfast in the morning was lovely.
The bathroom smelt and the location is a little dodgy
The central location was fab. The accomodation with city view was worth the upgrade.

The light circuit was very strange. Light by the bedside table turned off kitchen light. Very confusing. Cooked breakfast not fully hot more warm but tasty & edible with lots of choice items
